As you may have heard through various rumblings, the Philadelphia 76ers are going to bring in “the John Madden of NBA Broadcasting”, hiring the 58 year old Doug Collins as head coach. One season in, Jordan is out.
The Sixers have fired head coach Eddie Jordan, despite just hiring him last year. Him and his Princeton offense brought the Sixers to an outstanding 27-55 record. Oh wait, that’s a HRBL record.

Down two going into the fourth, Carmelo Anthony saved his best for last.  Melo scored twelve of his thirty two points in the final frame.   Melo and Chauncey Billups helped break an 86 to 86 tie with six minutes to go outscoring the Hornets by nine in that stretch.  Billups ended up with 27 points and Nene added 17 points and 12 rebounds.  As much as I want to talk about the Nuggets winning this game, I cannot help but notice that both New Orleans Hornets …

First off, the Cavs lost their second straight game after winning 13 in a row. Secondly, Antawn Jamison made his highly anticipated debut for Cleveland – and he stunk, big time.
