Lakers 96, Bulls 87
Kobe Bryant has a broken finger on his shooting hand; he also dropped 20 points on the Bulls in the 1st quarter and finished the game with 42 points. It was Kobe’s 5th 40 point+ game this year and 104th for his career. The Lakers shot 4-20 from 3-point land and Kobe had 8 turnovers, but they still won the game – that is how good these guys are. For the Bulls, Joakim Noah had a 20 rebound game including 14 offensive boards. That was basically the …

Oklahoma City 102, Memphis 94
In a game of runs, Kevin Durant had the last one.
With OKC (12-9) controlling the game for most of the first half and midway through the 3rd, Memphis (9-13) turned up the heat and went on a 15-2 run to go up 4 for entering the 4th. Insert Kevin Durant takeover. Durant who struggled in third, scored 9 of his 32 points in the last 5 minutes of the game to lead the Thunder to a big victory on the road.

Lakers 108, Heat 107
Even when you play great defense on Kobe Bryant, you can still get burned.
That’s the case for the Miami Heat, who were the victims of Kobe Bryant’s miraculous three pointer at the buzzer in Los Angeles. With 3.2 seconds left, Kobe took the inbound and hoped to drive to the basket; however, due to a double team, he was re-routed towards the center of the court and he shot up a prayer on one leg as he faded to the right. The shot banked in and the …

Jazz 108, Blazers 92
For the second game in a row the Blazers have found themselves down by at least 14 points at the end of the first. This is definintely NOT how you want to start off your games especially on the road and in Utah. Some coaches would call this “coming out flat” I call it “sucking.” The Blazers defense missed tonight’s game as the Jazz lit up the remnants of the Blazers defense by shooting a sizzling 60% from the field! The stat that stood out the most …

Nuggets 101, Nets 87
Oy. The Nets are at a full squad now at this point, other than Yi but he is a no factor in my book, and they still lose by 14. If NBA fans are saying it’s not Frank’s fault you’re just insane. Does anyone watch Nets games? I know Harris was hurt but this is his second game back and he didn’t start. The worst part is Frank played Lee, Alston and Harris on the floor at the same time. Can someone tell me who played the …

This shot was INSANE. I saw everyone on the @nbatoday twitter blowin’ up about this shot and of course since we are on the East Coast, we couldn’t watch this game. Kobe played James Harden on what looked to be a pretty solid defensive stop and Kobe basically chucked up this shot to draw a foul. Look where he shot this from!

Suns 101, Raptors 100
The Raptors brought in Hedo Turkoglu to be their closer. Sunday night he had a chance to put the Suns away but could not come through. He missed a 17 foot fade way as time expired to give the Suns their ninth victory of the year.
Amar’e Stoudemire had 30 point to lead Phoenix and won the battle between the elite power forwards in the league. Chris Bosh, who will also be available at the end of the year for free agency, had 25 of his own as …
