The Houston Rockets have agreed in principle to acquire Kevin Martin from the Sacramento Kings. Kenny Thomas, Hilton Armstrong, and Sergio Rodriguez will join Martin in Houston. In return, Tracy McGrady will land either in Sacramento or New York.

Stephen Jackson and the Bobcats answered the call winning a huge game in overtime on the road against the Suns.  Jackson tied the game at 98 with a three pointer over Steve Nash with 19 seconds left in the game.  The Suns had a chance to win in regulation when Nash drove and kicked out to a well guarded Jared Dudley.  Dudley’s contested jump shot hit the back iron, forcing overtime.  In overtime Jackson, who scored 30 points in the game, continued to dominate scoring 9 of …

Down one with time running out, Caron Butler had a chance to propel his Wizards to victory.  Unfortunately for Butler, Shawn Marion was standing in the way.  Marion blocked Butler’s 16 footer giving the Mavericks another one point victory.
