Never Forget, Never Forgive

This is the second portion of a two a day article…click here to read the first part.
Second item on my mind: Will Cleveland ever forgive Lebron James? I understand the levity of the question because the first query that comes to my mind is “Does he deserve it?” My initial, knee-jerk response is absolutely …

Balance of Power (Part 2)

After a few days of letting the first part of the balance of power post settle in, I think it is time to finish up my premature and angry emotions about the upcoming NBA season. If you need to find out what I am talking about, take a read of my previous post. It’s actually right below this one. There are a lot of things bothering me and maybe I should have expressed them when they occurred, but compiling them altogether simply sounds more effective when expressing emotions …

LBJ: The Decision and Opportunity

Disclaimer: The views and opinions in this article are solely those of myself, JB, and no other writer on the staff.
As a Nets season ticket holder I am disappointed that the New Jersey Nets lost out in the LeBron James sweepstakes.  I am not the hugest LBJ fan, but I have to admit that it would have been exciting to watch him play 41 times a year.  A lot of articles that have been circulating the web, newspapers, and magazines have been bashing “King James,” and they have every right. …

Allen, Pierce Lead Celtics to the Next Round While Cavs Punch Ticket As Well

Boston 96, Miami 86 (Celtics win series 4-1)

There was a little scare in the second half, but Paul Pierce confirmed his next visit to Miami will be “on vacation”.
Pierce’s 21 points and excellent all-around play held off a furious attack led by Dwyane Wade and company to clinch the first round playoff series. They now await the winner of the Cleveland/Chicago (most likely Cleveland) series, whose game was currently at halftime as of press release.
Ray Allen also led the Celtics with 24 points, shooting 5-6 from beyond the arc. Rajon …

Heat Continue Winning, Bucks Lose the Big One, and the Thunder Clinch

Miami 97, Minnesota 84
As all of us talk about players Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and even Kevin Durant, we all forget about a guy that is winning by himself, Dwyane Wade.
Wade follows his 43 point performance with a 39 point one to lead the Heat against the Timberwolves. This is the eighth straight victory for Miami, which just like the weather, are red hot. Honestly, there was a point about 3 weeks ago where I didn’t think they were going to make the playoffs, but Wade would not …
