Power Rankings Week 6
Oh yeah, we are just about a quarter of the way through the season, and things are starting to come into focus. The Lakers toughness is still in question after their thriller with the Heat. Are the Orlando Magic really this good…without Jameer Nelson? Some big time rookies are running into the wall… ahem ahem Mr. Jennings in particular. Boston is finding their groove and the Nets are worse than the NJIT Highlanders. Got em.

Heat 90, Wizards 76
Down 49-41 at half, Dwyane Wade decided he would do whatever he needed to do to win this game. He scored 29 of his game high 41 in the second half to help the Heat (6-1) remain in first place in the Southeast Division by beating the Wizards(2-6), 90-76. In addition to his 41 points, Wade grabbed 5 rebounds, dished out 5 assists, and recorded 3 steals. The Suns continue their hot streak with every starter getting into double figures. Jason Richardson continued his hot hand by draining 22 points to lead all scorers, while Amare Stoudemire, Grant Hill, and Channing Frye combined for 48 points and 35 rebounds (all obtaining double-doubles). Steve Nash distributed 17 dimes to get everybody involved.
