Celtics 98, Bucks 89
The Celtics (17-4) come up clutch in the fourth quarter to outlast the Bucks (9-11) 98-89. With the score tied at 71 going into the fourth, the Celtics were led by Rajon Rondo who scored all eleven of his points in the final period. He also dished out 13 assists, was one rebound short of a triple-double, and recorded 5 steals. Kevin Garnett led Boston with 25 points. Kendrick Perkins had a solid game scoring 15 points on 7-8 shooting.

Chris Paul, who entered the league in 2005 out of Wake Forest, is without a doubt on pace for a career comparable to the all-time greats. This season, he’s continuing his climb averaging 26.3 ppg and 9.3 apg.
The 24-year-old Olympian probably gets asked what his secret to success has been since entering the NBA. Duh…it’s the shoes! This year he showcases the third installment of his CP3 Jordan’s.

It was a night to forget for the Timberwolves and Clippers. It was also a night for me to forget I was watching NBA TV.

Both teams were poorly outscored by halftime, to the point where NBA TV would rather show their trbl tv interview of John Schuhmann’s power rankings. Trailblazers 115, Timberwolves 93
The Timberwolves dropped their sixth straight game, 115-93, at the hands of Andre Miller and the Blazers Sunday night. Miller led the Blazers with team high 21 points and helped improve his team to 4-3.
The T-Wolves had no answer for the balanced Blazer attack as five Trailblazers scored double digits including 19 from Travis Outlaw off the bench.

Nuggets 122, Nets 94
The Denver Nuggets (5-0) struggled in the first half against the awful New Jersey Nets (0-5). Down one point at half, Denver turned up the heat and blew away the Nets. The good news for the Nets was that they scored 26 points in the 3rd quarter, unlike last game where they scored 7. The bad news, they gave up 44! Melo had another off night shooting 8-24, scoring 22 points. Nene, Keyon Martin, and Ty Lawson all picked up the slack scoring 16 or more.

Knicks 117, Hornets 111
The scrappy Knicks were able to hold off Chris Paul’s valiant attempt to steal a win at MSG on Monday night. Paul had 32 points and 13 assists but wasn’t enough to beat a Knicks who were starving for their first win of the season.
David Lee had 28 points to lead the Knicks on a night where they had three 20 point scorers. Al Harrington,24, and Larry Hughes, 20 were the other two, leading an all around balanced attack for the Knicks.
