Despite 44 From Bosh Raptors Lose; Thunder and Hornets Come Out Victorious Late

Despite 44 points and 12 rebounds from Chris Bosh, the Raptors still lost a close game.  This game basically proves that the Raptors, despite being in the playoff mix, are NOT a good team.  These guys just don’t play defense and that includes Bosh.  When you give up over 100 points per game, you usually don’t win.  The Bucks were led by 27 and 12 from Andrew Bogut who carried the team with Delfino who had 22.  The Bucks committed just 7 turnovers all game and shot …

LeBron Celebrates Birthday in Style; Magic Beat Bucks; Randolph Leads Grizz; Raptors and Nets Win

Going into this game, LeBron James was 0-3 when playing on his his birthday.  Today, he celebrated it in style.  James had 48 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks on the night he turned twenty-five.  The Cavaliers were down by as many as 9 points in the third quarter but fought back in the fourth outscoring the Hawks 29 to 16 to pull away with a five point win and a sweep of the home and home series.  With the score tied at …

Durant Still Has Hot Hand, Lakers Win 2 OT Thriller, Suns/Warriors Still Don’t Play D

In the match up up the two -cat teams (Thundercats/Bobcats) the Thundercats reined supreme.  Kevin Durant scored 30 points on the night making it the 3rd consecutive game in which Durant scored 30 points or more.  With the win the Thunder are now back to one game over .500 with their next game coming on Monday in NJ.  The NBA’s leading rebounder, Gerald Wallace, had an off night rebound (6) and shooting as well (13 points 3-9).  The Bobcats were outrebounded by 12 on the night.

Sixers Lose Again; Jennings Leads Bucks; Cavs Drop Second Straight

Allen Iverson had another shot to get his first win in his second term with the Sixers (5-17) against a former team.  Iverson and the Sixers were unable to get the job done losing their eleventh straight.  Iverson scored 11 points against his former team on 3-10 shooting.  Andre Iguodala led the Sixers with 18 points following by Elton Brand’s and Samuel Dalembert’s 17 points each.
