Nuggets 93, Sixers 83
In what could be said as a very emotional return to Philidelphia for Allen Iverson, Chauncey Billups did everything in his power to ruin it. Despite a sold out Wachovia center, and AI version 2 (Andre Iguodala) playing out of his mind with 31 points of his own, the 76ers lost their 10th straight.
Billups tore up the court, scoring 31 points on 8-15 shooting. That includes going 4-6 from the 3 point line. The backcourt speed of the Nuggets proved to be too much, and a 14-0 …

Tonight in the city of brotherly love, Allen ‘The Answer’ Iverson returns to the Philadelphia Sixers as they host one of his old teams, the Denver Nuggets. Iverson, after much contemplation and tribulation, finds himself back where it all began, with so much history, so much love, so much hate but only one Answer. Lou Williams was having an oustanding year thus far for the Sixers. He was there go-to-guy and is the leading scorer on the team. Last year his role significantly increased on the team but this year he knew his role and that was SCORE any means possible. “I would like to announce my plans to retire from the National Basketball Association. I always thought that when I left the game, it would be because I couldn’t help my team the way that I was accustomed to. However, that is not the case.” – …

AI’s time has come and gone with the Grizzlies. After just 3 games and a few on and off the court matters the Grizzlies and Allen Iverson agreed to part ways. In this past offseason, Iverson agreed on a 1-year/$3 million deal with the Grizzlies but after just 10 team games (3 of which he played in) he will earn the pro-rated amount.
Iverson left the Grizzlies on November 7th to deal with some personal matters off the court. Everyone was speculating that is had to do with his lack of …

Allen Iverson has career averages of 27.1 ppg, 6.2 apg, and 2.2 spg over the course of 16 seasons (including this year). After being on his third team in as many seasons, Iverson made his Grizzlies’ debut last night coming off the bench with 11 points in 18 minutes on 5 of 9 shooting. Afterwards, A.I. complained about coming off of the bench. Below is my letter to Allen.
Dear Allen,
I’ve been a Sixers fan for some time. With that being said, I obviously look to you as one of the …
