Rising Sun

Throughout his career, Vince Carter has encountered a lot of scrutiny from his fake injuries to the abandonment of Toronto. He is the ultimate ‘what if’ player who if “he focused and put together all of his prototype talents in his prime, how high does he rise.” Carter was blessed with unbelievable talents. He took the league by storm in Toronto with his high flying dunks and ridiculous acrobatics through defenders en route to the rim. Everyone thought the world of him and comparisons to Julius …

Power Rankings: Week 8

Power Rankings: Week 8

However, after what transpired yesterday, I am convinced GM Otis Smith and Coach Stan Van Gundy have lost it. I don’t know Otis too well, but this is familiar behavior for Gundy. He must have saw something on a consistent basis …

Knicks/Celtics Live in Game Blog

This is a live in game blog with quarter by quarter highlights…Enjoy!

Energy is amazing in New York as the Jets falter and give us false hope. The fans of the great apple turn to a team it has turn their back on for a decade. The Knicks are expected to extinguish bad feelings and disappointment created by the Jets losing during crunch time and the Yankees missing out on Cliff Lee. What better team to take it out on then a Boston rival. The greatest city …

Trade News: Three Team Deal sends Terrence Williams to the Rockets

This is a trade first uncovered by ESPN. This is a statement of opinion on the matter.
The Lakers, Nets, and Rockets complete a three team trade today sending Terrence Williams to Houston, Sasha Vujacic and two first round draft picks to New Jersey, and two second round picks and the draft rights of Houston’s Sergei Lishchuk to the Lakers.
As much as I hate Sasha, he joins Jordan Farmar, who is playing well for New Jersey (11 ppg & 5 apg) which adds depth to their limited bench. He …
