Cavs Hold Off Bucks, Sixers Pull Out Win in Beantown, Hawks Roll Over Jazz

Cavaliers 85, Bucks 82
Through 24 minutes, the Cavs and Bucks had a terrific battle going on in Cleveland with the Cavs holding a 49-47 lead at the half. Then the ugliness happened.
The third quarter was not kind to Milwaukee, who was outscored 24-12 in the quarter. You’d think the game was over as the Cavs lead by 10 with about five minutes to go in the game. But THAT is when the Cavs nearly blew the game! Cleveland was up 85-75 and did not score in the last 5 minutes …

Blazers Hold Off Suns, Heat and Bulls Get Back on Winning Ways

Blazers 105, Suns 102
The Blazers continue to find ways to win despite being plagued yet again with injuries. This time, it was from an unexpected source.
Reserve guard Jerryd Bayless led the Blazers to an impressive victory at the Rose Garden with 29 points in 29 minutes off the bench. Brandon Roy also chipped in 27 points.
Bayless set season-high’s in points, minutes, and rebounds, and matched his season high in assists. Not a bad game for the 2nd year man out of Arizona. More importantly, Bayless’ play helped Portland come back …

Kobe Sinks Bucks at Buzzer, Dirk Silences Thunder

Lakers 107, Bucks 106 (OT)
If you can prevent Kobe Bryant from making a buzzer beater once, you better make sure he doesn’t get another chance. Sorry Bucks fans, Kobe got that second chance.
After missing a shot from the left wing as time expired in regulation, the game moved to overtime tied at 95. The Bucks were able to build a 6-point lead with under two minutes left, but that didn’t stop the BEST player in the NBA. With 5.4 seconds left, Kobe took the inbound and went back to that …
