Toronto 98, New Orleans 92
Sometimes, it’s just not your night.
Chirs Paul played terribly in Toronto: 10 pts. (3-13 shooting), 7 assists and 5 turnovers, all leading to a long night for New Orleans (12-14) against the Raptors (13-17). Paul just couldn’t get it together and it’s unfortunate, David West showed up tonight. West dropped 21 and grabbed 12 rebounds.
Yet, it wasn’t enough to overtake Toronto’s well balanced output. All starters ended up in double figures, lead by none other than Mr. Chris Bosh. The man scored 25 points and 11 …
Two time Slam Dunk Champion Nate Robinson’s agent has told the New York Knicks that he should be traded. Robinson has not played any minutes in any of the last eight games. Robinson, who averaged a career high 17.2 points per game last season resigned for one year with the ‘Bockers after testing the restricted free agent market.
D’Antoni, when questioned, has alluded to the fact that he is only playing players who give his team the best chances to win. As it seems, he feels that Robinson isn’t one of …
Wow, what a great weekend in college basketball. Big time matchups, big time players, and big time upsets. This week we had Georgetown, Tennessee, Florida, and Texas Tech lose to smaller schools to shake up the rankings and my NBA player watch. John Wall continues to prove he is the number 1 draft pick while Da’Sean Butler’s stock improves daily, and how about Damion James, a double-double machine (42 total) for Texas. Syracuse continues to build and develop NBA ready players (Wesley Johnson). Jim Boehim is college coach with an …
Spurs 100, Pacers 99
I’ve never played in the NBA (shocker), and I’ve never played against Tim Duncan. But I imagine defending him is pretty tough and that you can’t take anything for granted.
That seemed to be the case on Saturday night in San Antonio for Roy Hibbert and the Pacers. With the Spurs down by 1 point in the waning seconds of the game, Hibbert blocked Duncan’s initial attempt at the lead, but Duncan grabbed the ball right after and through it down hard to give the Spurs the lead …
Jazz 110, Bobcats 102
Despite the Bobcats being 9-3 prior to this loss at home it meant nothing to the Utah Jazz. The Jazz and Bobcats were neck-and-neck for most of the game even though the Jazz are a much better team then the Bobcats. Both teams shot the ball extremely well (Bobcats 49% and the Jazz 53%) but the real factor in this game was bench scoring. The Bobcats bench combined for 33 points but the Jazz bench score 41 including 20 from CJ Miles and another 18 from Paul …
Austin Daye, I’ve never heard of you before, but you will now live in infamy because you’ve been POSTERIZED.
In Friday’s game in Oklahoma City, Thunder G Jeff Green nearly jumps over two Pistons, but one wisely gets out of the way. So that leaves Daye to lie where no man wants to be – underneath a thunder making SLAM!

Rockets 116, Mavericks 108 (OT)
Basketball is a game of runs. Proof lies in the Rockets/Mavs game on Friday night in Dallas.
In the second quarter, the Rockets jumped out to a lead on the road that they carried towards the end of the fourth quarter. However, a 10-point lead was lost in the last three minutes of regulation as the Mavericks were able to force OT. That run was capped with a defensive stop by Dallas.
However, OT brought upon another run – this time for Houston. The Rockets controlled the overtime …
