On a night where 37.3% shooting was the best FG% by both teams you just knew this was an ugly game. The Hawks scored 16 points in the 4th while the Mavs went ice cold and scored just 15. Despite the poor shooting, both teams superstars shot great. Joe Johnson of the Hawks shot 13-24 for 31 points to make up for an embarassing loss to the Knicks the night before while Dirk Nowitzki shot 11-24 for 32 points. Portland Trail Blazer’s center Greg Oden is likely done for the year, again, with a fractured left patella. Oden jumped up on Saturday to block a layup attempt by Aaron Brooks of the Rockets and when he planted and jumped that is when the fracture occurred. He never made contact with Brooks according to the replay. Oden went down immediately and you just KNEW it was going to be bad.
