Heat Scorch Hawks, Clippers Upset Blazers

Heat 92, Hawks 75

In tonight’s NBATV special, the Hawks came out incredibly flat, while the Heat came out firing on all cylinders and never looked back. Miami had a 16 point lead entering the second quarter, while Michael Beasley poured in 20 of his 22 total points in the first half. In the second half, Dwyane Wade finished the deal with 28 points and 8 rebounds. The bad news for Atlanta is that they’ve now lost four straight.
Jamal Crawford had a solid 23 points off the bench, but it obviously wasn’t …

Injuries Hover Around League’s Best Teams

Just over two months into the NBA season, every team has dealt with or is currently dealing with some sort of injury bug. Contrary to popular belief, good teams have to deal with injuries too! (they just have better help).. Here’s a few of the NBA’s finest teams that are in the midst of some serious injury issues.

Let’s start with the team that is struggling the most from some fallen stars. The Denver Nuggets have been without their leading scorers, Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups, for the last two games. …

Power Rankings: Week 10

Power Rankings: Week 10
How can I explain this week without using illicit material to express my emotions. Gilbert Arenas is firing out shots because Tim Donaghy decided to give Javaris Crittenton better inside information. Vinny Del Negro finds out a way to defeat Mount Vesuvius for the time being. The LeBron hate continues as the Cavs look indestructible until they lose to Charlotte… at HOME. The Bobcats are 3-14 away from home. How do you lose? The Hawks have lost all elite status mentions due to their embarrassing week. How …

Sixers Outlast Nuggets in Final Seconds, Lakers Blow Past Mavs

Sixers 108, Nuggets 105
In their second meeting since the return of Allen Iverson to Philadelphia, the Sixers held off a late surge by the Nuggets to win at the Pepsi Center.
Despite having an 8 point lead in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, some big shots by Ty Lawson (23 points) ended up putting the Nuggets within 1 point with seconds to go. After a Willie Green missed the second free throw, Andre Iguodala came up with a huge offensive board, sending him to the line. After he missed …

Raptors and Bobcats Win Shocking Upsets & Knicks Destroy Pacers

Charlotte 91, Cleveland 88
Holy (explicit), the Bobcats are 2-0 on the road this year.
After starting 1-14 on the road this season, the Bobcats (14-18) have won two in a row against quality opponents: Miami on Friday night, and Cleveland (27-9) tonight, shockingly, after Cleveland looked unstoppable. LeBron James dropped 29 points, grabbed 7 boards, & dished out 6 assists with Mo Williams added 27 of his own. When the combination of the two supply scoring like that, they don’t lose, but not tonight.
The Bobcats get a huge win amd add …
