Toronto 117, Indiana 102
Chris Bosh is simply amazing.
Bosh led Toronto (26-22) to an easy victory over the Pacers (16-32) with 26 points, 15 rebounds, and 7 assists. The 7 assists was a team high. His play has been amazing and the success of a team that was 5 games under .500 3 short weeks ago is well on their way to end the year with a quality run. I don’t see Brian Colangelo trading Bosh for Bynum now. Maybe, and this is a big maybe, Bosh …
Warning: The following injury hurts the Hornets, the fans, the NBA, and…..Chris Paul.
New Orleans PG Chris Paul is injured, again. He hurt his knee late in regulation in an overtime game on Friday against the Bulls and missed Saturday’s game vs. Memphis. It was originally expected that Paul would only miss a few games, but he is now scheduled to have arthroscopic surgery on Monday. He will miss one to two months as a result.
Earlier in the season, Paul missed eight games due to an injured ankle and the Hornets …
Lakers 90, Celtics 89
I think Kobe turned every shamrock in the world red with anger today.
His once-again clutch shooting prevailed with 7.8 seconds left as the Lakers got a solid road win in at TD BankNorth. Kobe’s shot was over a closely guarded Ray Allen, who in my mind did everything he could to contest the shot. Allen had one last shot to win the game, but was slightly off the mark as time expired.
Boston, coming off tough losses against Atlanta and Orlando, had an 11 point lead in the …

This has been a pretty amazing season for the NBA so far. Tons of exciting games and intriguing questions from week to week, and we haven’t even reached the All-Star break yet! But we have a winner for the most amazing thing to happen in the NBA this season:
ANDRE MILLER SCORED 52 POINTS!
Seriously, I would sooner guess that Andre Miller would have 52 assists in a game instead of 52 points. My goodness! The elderly point guard shot 22-31 from the field, and scored 25 of …
Bulls 108, Hornets 106 (OT)
The Chicago Bulls are over .500 – this is after an amazingly disappointing start that left Vinny Del Negro at the absolute cusp of being fired. And the weirdest thing about it is that they are winning away from home!
On Friday in Narleans, the Bulls overcame a horrendous fourth quarter to pull off a road win over the Hornets. Luol Deng dropped 26 points, including a putback that avoided a disaster with only 0.2 seconds left in regulation. The overtime period was not quite as exciting …
The reason I love doing Friday wrap ups, is because in the less important games, I skip over the actual games and rant. I’m sorry in advance, but hey, you might enjoy it. These games are marked with an (*) asterisk sign.
Cavaliers 94, Pacers 73
Because so much of the staff dislikes LeBron, I’m going to make sure the word ‘LeBron‘ is used in each sentence. In this game, LeBron almost had his 27th career triple-double as he finished with 22 points, 13 assists, and 9 rebounds. LeShaq had …
