Cavs 108, Raptors 100
Ok so the title makes this game seem like a blow out, but it was just a 2-point game at halftime and the Raptors were down just 8 after three quarters in Cleveland. Neither team played particularly well in the 4th quarter, but LeBron James play particularly well throughout the entire game. James was just one rebound shy of another triple-double. This game featured what I like to call “The Mo Williams Factor” which is really just The Ref’s obsession with Mo Williams and the fact that if …
Here’s the wrap-up for the night games on MLK Day -
Mavs 99, Celtics 90
When you shoot 80 percent from the floor and outscore your opponent 34-18 in the third quarter, it makes winning a game on the road much easier.
Despite the Paul Pierce circus show, where he did everything he could to keep Boston in the game with some acrobatic drives and shots, the Mavs broke out in the second half and held on to win at the TD BankNorth Garden.
Dirk Nowitzki led all scorers with 37 points, on 14-22 …
The 2010 Sprite Slame Dunk Contestants were released today inside of Penn Station in NYC. A few days ago it was announced that DeMar DeRozan and Eric Gordon will star in the first ever dunk-off which will take place February 12th during the Rookie Challenge and Youth Jam event. Joining either DeRozan or Gordon are 2009 defending champion (as well as 2006 champ) Nate Robinson, alongside Gerald Wallace and SHANNON BROWN. I put Shannon Brown in caps because the dude pulls out dunk contest dunks in regular season games!
It will …
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is celebrated far more impressively by the NBA, than any other league, with a huuuuge 12 game slate of games. Chock full of great matchups, let’s get to the action…
Kings 103, Bobcats 105
When I saw this as one of the earlier games, I predicted it would be a solid matchup. Tyreke Evans exploded with 34 points and 7 assists. Aside from ‘Reke, scoring was pretty balanced for the Kings, but the Bobbies led by Gerald Wallace’s 28 points and stingy defense were still able to …
Power Rankings: Week 12
Alright, look at the East making a statement. After I bashed the conference for being so unbelievably terrible for having 4 teams over .500 (West had 12 at this point), the East now have 7 over said mark, including the Toronto Raptors. The team has proved they can play a little defense, and win on the road for a change. I am excited to see this team play in the near future, and what if this makes Chris Bosh reconsider his decision to leave. It’s very unlikely …

The Bucks have signed Jerry Stackhouse for the remainder of the season according to ESPN.com. The terms of the contract were not released but this should provide a big boost to the Bucks. Other than Brandon Jennings, the Bucks really struggle to score from their backcourt especially with Michael Redd out for the remainder of the year. Stackhouse I think is a perfect fit for this team being they don’t have a shooting guard and Stack can still shoot the J. Stackhouse may be old, but he should be a good …
