Well folks, it’s all downhill from here. Every team has at least played 41 games and can only hope to do three things as April approaches: improve, prepare for the playoffs, or biding time until the draft. All and all, excitement will continue to grow upon the NBA fanhood with the All Star Game and trade deadline coming up after football is finished.

Mid Season Awards

This season thus far, fans have seen a plethora of highs and lows, in all levels of extremities. The season just passed it’s midway point and the rumors are swirling entering All Star Weekend and the trade deadline. The Atlanta Hawks has always been quiet the passed few years even though they have improved their winning pct. each season. In 2008, the team shocked the NBA world taking the Celtics to 7 games in the opening round series, cementing their future as a team to be taken seriously. Remembering Martin Luther King Day

On the day, we remember a visionary trying to bring peace in all races is celebrated with time off, documentaries and of course, all you can eat basketball. The day was filled with high flying action from the college and NBA game. The action started at noon time and went into two in the morning. It’s the next best thing to the first two days of March Madness. As Thanksgiving is to football, Martin Luther King is to basketball.
