Who Wants OJ Mayo?

The following are just opinions and views on Trade Rumors reported by various different sources, specifically ESPN.
OJ Mayo maybe be on the move after he serves his 10 game suspension according to NBA front-office sources. There isn’t any team standing out in the conversation but it’s due to Memphis waiting to discuss with any GM’s about the Grizzlies swing man.
Memphis wants the most amount of value for Mayo and dealing him now may be a steal for another GM and nobody wants another Pau Gasol trade. …

NBA History (Part 2 of Many)

In the first NBA history post, I discussed Ralph Sampson’s career. Not your typical way to start off this type of post, but hey, strive to be different. Anyway, I am continuing the same trend by talking about another player who could have been one of the best. A player with a recorded 44 inch vertical leap and could dunk on anybody. A player, who had so much promise, was destroyed by drugs and injuries in the end.
I could only be talking about David …

Power Rankings: Week 14

All of the following is opinion on rumors and reports from various sources, specifically ESPN’s Chad Ford.
With the trade deadline less than a month away, the rumors are already starting to swirl as a few teams are talking about moving key guys. We already know about Denver, New Jersey, New York and Detroit but here a few other reports going around the league:
The Indiana Pacers are looking to move Danny Granger out for two able starters, preferably a PF and SG. With Jeff Foster and Michael Dunleavy on …

Rookie Rankings: Week 13

Rookie Rankings: Week 13
It’s unfair to John Wall that Blake Griffin is having one of the best rookie years in NBA history because in most, Wall would be the leading candidate. He is averaging 15 and 10 in the past 15 games while the team has gone 6-9. It doesn’t sound impressive but where the Wizards were, it’s an improvement. He does need to help the team win on the road though.
Mentioning Griffin, could you imagine last year’s race with him in it? He would undoubtedly …

Crazy Game of Poker

Ever listen to this song by OAR called a ‘Crazy Game of Poker’? It’s fantastic. The song and lyrics is self explanatory. It’s catchy and one of the best summer songs.

Yep, there are two parts
Denver’s GM Masai Ujiri most likely loves this song
The Carmelo Anthony talks have been extreme and rash, hopeful and heartbreaking, but most of all, frustrating.
The Denver Nuggets have taken the edge in the trade battle. NBA vs. CBA talks are right around the corner and Anthony is …
