Knicks Win in Convincing Fashion, Bucks Moving On Up, Suns Rollin’

Knicks 128, Pistons 104
For the 2nd time since the McGrady trade the Knicks have won a game.  It was a 24 point womping on the lonely Detroit Pistions.  Not only did the Knicks win but McGrady, Harrington, Lee and House (the teams big 4) all had great games.  T-Mac has rebounded after a couple of poor shooting games and had a solid night scoring 21 points on 6-12 shooting plus 8 assists and 7 rebounds.  David “Double-Double” Lee had a hhhnasty game with 21 points-18 boards-8 assists.  Eddie House came off …

Balkman is Back!; Bron Bron Handles Nets; Grizz Continue to Win on the Road

Nuggets 119, Thunder 90
Forget that the Nuggets held the surging Thunder to twelve points in the 3rd quarter.  Forget Carmelo Anthony’s 30 points, Nene’s 20 points, and J.R. Swish’s 18 points off the bench.  Forget the fact that the Nuggets kept Kevin Durant under the 20 points mark for only the sixth time all season.  All that matters is that Renaldo Balkman (my favorite player) is finally back from his back injury.  In this 30 point blow out, my dude put up 2 points (1-4 FG, 0-3 3FG), 2 rebounds, …

NBAtoday.net Monthly Awards – February

Oh my, where do I start…for February being the shortest month of the year, so much went down. We had the all-star game, trading deadline, the Nets beats the Celtics (groan), CBA talks, a TRBL skills competition…Lets go!
Eastern Conference Player of the Month -LeeeeBron – Though I know to say the selections are the same as last month, but yes it is true. He led Cleveland to a 8-3 record. And only averaged 32 points and 10.5 assists a game during that stretch. This was a no-brainer. Not only is …

Durant’s 39 Leads OKC; Wade Carries Heat

Thundercats 113, Kings 107
Kevin Durant is dirty, it is as simple as that.  Durant his thirteen of his twenty-six shots and was a perfect twelve for twelve from the line finishing with a game high 39 points.  Russell Westbrook did not play too bad either.  Westbrook put up 30 points of his own while adding 13 assists.  This was a game the Thunder were expected to win if they expect to make it to the playoffs, and they did just that.  Tyreke Evans did what he could scoring 27 points …

LeBron to Change His Number

LeBron James has done it folks.  He officially put in the paperwork to change his number from 23 to 6 as he speculated back in November.
I’ve done it,” James said. “I already sent it in. I’m going to be number 6.”
Every single Knicks’ fan’s heart stopped for 30 seconds after reading this thinking since he is going for a number change he will stay with Cleveland no?  Not necessarily, the jerseys aren’t be made just yet so if LeBron chooses to leave the Cavs he has to submit the paperwork …

Conspiracy Theory: Kobe Faked Ankle Injury

Let me first start off by saying this is a COMPLETE 100% stretch of the imagination here and I, in no way, believe Kobe faked his ankle injury but the point of my post will focus on that and other great players injuries this year.
Last week while talking with Shooter’s Dad he briefly mentioned how he heard someone on the radio say Kobe faked his ankle injury to see how the Lakers would perform without the best player in the NBA.  How did they respond you ask?  Well they went …
