The Nets are pulling some amazing moves, from forcing New York to overcompensate for Carmelo Anthony to now, acquiring arguably the best point guard in the league, Deron Williams.
Pending the NBA’s approval, the Nets will get Williams and Utah will recieve raw rookie PF Derrick Favors and PG Devin Harris. This is a great trade for New Jersey and an interestingly confusing one for Utah.

Late last night before midnight, Knicks acquired Carmelo Anthony in a three-way deal including Minnesota. Denver will get Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov and the Knicks’ 2014 first-round draft pick, the Warriors 2012 second-round pick, the Warriors’ 2013 second-round pick and $3 million in cash. Along with Melo, New York will receive Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Corey Brewer, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman. According to the Denver Post, New York will send Anthony Randolph and Eddy Curry to Minnesota as part of the deal.
