Bell Picks Jazz Over Lakers?
Raja Bell must really have beef with Kobe, as he opted to sign with the Utah Jazz after considering an offer from the defending champion L.A. Lakers (Or maybe he figures he could possibly be a starter in Utah). Bell also recieved an offer from the Bulls, but he was all about returning to Utah, where he loved playing for coach Jerry Sloan. Bell played in only 6 games last year for the Bobcats/Warriors after suffering a wrist injury.

Jefferson to the Jazz
When Michael Beasley got shipped to the Timberwolves for 2 Pepsi’s and a bag of popcorn, we all knew that Al Jefferson was likely gone. Jefferson has found a home in Utah in exchange for two future first round picks. The Jazz were able to acquire Big Al with a trade exception left over from Boozer’s departure. In my eyes, the Jazz made a good move here, as they had to bring some talent in after Boozer left for the sake of Deron Williams.

With all of the hysteria over LeBron and free agency, everyone has had an opinion. Below, is a post from G’s dad on why history shows Miami should be careful what they wish for.
The recent acquisition of LeBron James by the Miami Heat takes me back to 1977 when my beloved Philadelphia76ers acquired Julius “Dr. J” Erving from the New York Nets. At the time we had a nice roster consisting of former ABA stars like George McGinnis, hometown hero Jelly Bean Bryant (Kobe’s Daddy), homeboy hero (Lloyd (World) Free, and my …
BREAKING NEWS, Mike Miller Signs with the Heat:
The Heat have added a 5th player to their roster as Mike Miller has apparently agreed to a 5-year/$30 million deal around 2AM according to the ESPN bottom line. This signing was the easiest decision in the world for Mike Miller. He has no solidified this Heat roster for a very reasonable price for a guy who is good at all the little intangibles. He is now the 4th option for this team an another starter at the possible SF position if LeBron …
Thank God this is over.
All day I’ve been dreading this one-hour ‘special’ based on the idea that LeBron would do everything in his power to make himself the focal point of the world for one hour. How he could think a one-hour special was a good idea is beyond me.
So LeBron has made his decision. He will go to the Miami Heat to join four other players. Luckily for him two of those guys are Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. When the news came out on Wednesday that Wade and …
With everyone chomping at the bit for LeBron James’ ESPN signing extravaganza, a few more players joined Chris Both and Dwayne Wade by agreeing to contracts today.
Carlos Boozer 5 years/$80 million with the Bulls. Fearing that they would be shut out after losing Wade and Bosh, the Bulls made the move signing Boozer to a 5 year deal. Boozer will join Joakim Noah down low and provide some more offensive help for Derrick Rose. The Bulls also have enough money to offer another max contract if LeBron decides to choose …
Today marks the day where as a Nets fan I start to cry (unless LeBron agrees to sign with NJ tomorrow night at 9). Chris Bosh and D-Wade are going to be playing together in Miami next year. Neither of the deals were officially announed in terms of contracts but I’m sure Wade will be signing the max contract and it’s been rumored that Bosh will be leaving $30 million on the table to sign with the Heat.
If that’s the case, big ups to Chris Bosh. Unfortunately I’ve been watching …
