Bucks 99, Nets 85
Not much to say in this game, up 48-41 at halftime, the New Jersey Nets (0-12) had another abysmal second half to drop their 12th game in a row this season to the Milwaukee Bucks (6-3). The Nets mangaged 37 points in the second half, including only 12 in the 3rd quarter. Chris Douglas-Roberts scored 31 points for the Nets and Rookie Terrence Williams added 20 points and 10 rebounds. Brook Lopez added 11, which mostly came off of dunks in the last few minutes of the …

Cavs 114, Warriors 108
I’m convinced that Don Nelson no longer has any idea how to coach this team. Ten games into the season and Nelson has used 7 different starting lineups it seems. Newly acquired Raja Bell is having wrist surgery and will be out for the remainder of the season; I guess he really doesn’t like Don Nelson and the Warriors. So with Bell out the Warriors used just 7 players and all 7 of them scored in double digits including a team high 23 from Monta Ellis. The thing I don’t get …

Hawks 99, Trailblazers 95 (OT)
Joe Johnson’s 35 points, including eight in the decisive overtime, gave the Hawks a 99-95 win over the Trailblazers. The Hawks now have won six games in a row beating a string of respectable opponents namely Denver and Boston.
Josh Smith also had a great game for Atlanta, dropping 20 points and pulling down 16 rebounds.
Blazers G Rudy Fernandez hit a buzzer beating fade away three to put the game into overtime. He ended the night with 19 points but also left Atlanta with a loss.

Mavericks 115, Bucks 113 (OT)
Dirk Nowitzki got such an amazing bounce off the rim.
His 18 foot jump shot at the end of OT put the Dallas Mavericks over the top on the road against the Bucks. This was a classic matchup, pitting the youth and speed of Brandon Jennings against the veteran Nowitzki, who seemed determined to take over the game once Shawn Marion left with an injury.
It didn’t appear that this game was headed for OT, however. After Jennings went ahead 104-102, Jason Kidd came storming back to tie …

Suns 101, Raptors 100
The Raptors brought in Hedo Turkoglu to be their closer. Sunday night he had a chance to put the Suns away but could not come through. He missed a 17 foot fade way as time expired to give the Suns their ninth victory of the year.
Amar’e Stoudemire had 30 point to lead Phoenix and won the battle between the elite power forwards in the league. Chris Bosh, who will also be available at the end of the year for free agency, had 25 of his own as …

Dallas 95, Detroit 90
In the Palace tonight, the Mavericks (7-3) edged out the Pistons (4-4) in a thriller led by Dirk Nowitzki’s 25 points. This game came down to the wire as Will Bynum nailed two free throws to make the score 91-88. On the ensuing play, Nowitizki drove to the basket with Ben Wallace all over him, and made a tough fade-away jumper to lock up the game. Then, Ben Gordon missed a game-tying three with 3 seconds to go. Gordon finished with 5 points on an astounding 1-16 …

Bucks 129, Warriors 125
Maybe it’s time I stop BASHING Brandon Jennings. I won’t lie to you, I thought it was stupid he was going to play in Europe and I honestly thought he was over-hyped and that the Bucks made a big mistake. It’s seven games into the season, and boy was I wrong thus far. On Saturday, Jennings poured in 55 on 21-34 shooting, including 7-8 from downtown and 6-8 from the stripe. Even with 55 points from Jennings the Bucks only won by 4 points against the Warriors. …
