Ladies and gentleman, I introduce to you, the Air Jordan 1 Retro “KO’s.” Most people like Air Jordan 1′s, but the catch with the KO’s is they come as if they are a pair of old Jays you have had hidden in a box in the back of your garage. Both colorways feature a yellowing to give the shoe a dirty and worn look. I don’t know how I feel about this, but I do think it’s a cool concept.
Will I be buying these?
No.
The college G definitely would have scooped …

The Shoe: The Air Jordan 2010- The latest Jordan sneaker marks the 25th Anniversary of the most groundbreaking sneaker line in our history. The shoe was designed by shoe legends, Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith. ($169.99)
Whats New? We know each Jordan shoe typically has a unique feature to it that separates it from other sneakers. This year is no different as Hatfield and Smith added a clear window on the side of the shoe, which symbolizes “looking inside of Michael Jordan and his game.”
What’s Not? The shoe, like many previous …

Back in college, while I was limping around the streets of Ewing, New Jersey running cross country and track, my boy JB (also my roomie!) decided he wanted to strap on his sneaks, and try out for our school basketball team. I can honestly say I’ve never seen someone work so hard to achieve something, and then actually do it. Seeing how hard he worked, motivated me to work hard in my own athletics.
But now I feel cheated, because I realized the secret to his success wasn’t lifting weights, shooting …

There has been much speculation leading up to this NBA offseason, with buzz about this being the best free agent class ever. This class, headlined by Shooter and Basher’s favorite player, LeBron James, has stirred up many questions and comments all year. Well, it doesn’t look like that’s going to stop anytime soon.
Photos of a new color-way of LeBron’s Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low’s have appeared online leading to mass speculation about LeBron James, and the New York Knicks. That’s because these shoes are Knick Blue, and Knick Orange. …

If you ask any loyal Jordan Brand sneakerhead what the most coveted Jordan might be, I guarentee you would get a healthy amount of responses being, “The Spacejams.” You hear ‘Space Jam’ and you immediately think back to the movie featuring Michael Jordan and all those loveable Looney Tunes characters facing the Mon-Stars. In the movie, Jordan wore a pair of Jordan 11′s that were a black, white, and blue. Released soon after, the nickname was born.
That being said, I’ve thought all of my life what it would be like …

When we last left off, I had discussed the history of the Jordan Brand itself, along with the first two sneakers. That post can be found here. In this post of the series, I will enlighten ‘Jordan Dummies’ on Jordans’ 3 through 5. Yesssss.
The Air Jordan Three:
The third effort from the Jordan Brand was designed by Tinker Hatfield, who went on to design all of the Jordans up to number 15. The shoe was released during a great season (87-88) for Jordan where he was the league MVP, defensive player …

This series was sparked by the typical conversation between The Basher (dummy), and G (sneakerhead). The conversation typically goes like this:
(Random kid walks by wearing Air Jordan sneakers)
Basher: G, Which Jordan’s are those?
G: Oh, well those are the Space Jams. Real exclusive shoe right there.
Basher: Space Jams?? Isn’t that a movie? What?
G: (sigh)
Basher: I don’t get it. I thought they went by numbers. I’m lost.
(NOTE: The Basher is in no way a dummy for not knowing each Jordan. I’m way moreso the real dummy for spending thousands of dollars on …
