Just a couple more weeks until the season is over, and before you know it the ROY award will be announced. A few guys are coming on late and there are a few mainstays in the rankings as well, so who will battle it out until the last day and take the ROY award? Well if you ask me it’s…

1. Tyreke Evans – I feel like a broken record talking about Evans but he is definitely worthy of ROY. He has been the most consistant rookie from day 1 and ...

Here we are, nearing the end of the season and the Rookie of the Year race is wide open. I’d say 3 guys have a legit shot at winning ROY and another 2 guys should steal some votes from the top vote getters. Since we are so close to the end of the year my rankings will now be a top 5 system with those 5 being the actual contenders for ROY.
1. Tyreke Evans – Let’s be serious, ROY is usually voted based upon numbers and not so much what ...

1. Tyreke Evans – A Memphis product, so is Derrick Rose. Who’s better? Evans, hands down.
2. Stephen Curry – Monta Ellis and Maggette are both hurt right now; Curry is expected to take 25-35 shots per game while they are out. That is NOT an exaggeration.
3. Brandon Jennings– Jennings is leading the troops to a 3-2 February record and just 1 game out of the 8th ...

1. Tyreke Evans – Watching this guy play, he doesn’t really make those rookie mistakes. It’s unfortunate that Kevin Martin ruins everything including winning games.
2. Stephen Curry – Curry is coming off a fine month in which he was Western Conference Rookie of the Month where he averaged 19 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds.
3. Brandon Jennings– I had to move him up a slot for winning his ...

New Additions This Week: Marcus Thorton
1. Tyreke Evans – The guys on NBA Shootaround said Evans is the runaway winner for ROY, they must have gotten that from me.
2. Stephen Curry – It took a month until Curry found a rythme but now he has found his stroke and is making over 1.5 3′s per game.
3. Omri Casspi– Casspi has struggled to score consistently and hasn’t played ...

New Additions This Week: DeJuan Blair, Jonas Jerebko
1. Tyreke Evans – Everytime you think he is going to be down and out he steps up and drops 25. He is still averaging 20-5-5 on the season and doesn’t appear to be slowing down; although his Kings, do.
2. Stephen Curry –Last week, Curry played an entire game (again) and had 18 points, 6 boards, 4 assists and 6 ...

New Additions This Week: Ty Lawson, AJ Price
1. Tyreke Evans – ’Reke is beginning to hit that rookie wall and is struggling with his shot and it’s showing with the Kings performances.
2. Stephen Curry –If the Warriors trade Ellis this year, look for Curry to drop 18 a game by the end of the year, it could happen.
3. Omri Casspi– Casspi continues to impress and he’s beginning to rebound ...

David Anderson dropped from this week’s rankings and Tyler Hansbrough is moving on up folks!
Added to the rankings: DeJaun Blair
Dropped from the rankings: David Anderson
1. Tyreke Evans – Over his last 3 games Evans has averaged over 44 mpg; I hope he doesn’t he that wall because he is fun to watch.
2. Brandon Jennings – Last week Jennings called his 55 point game “a curse” because everyone expects him to ...
