The Spurs have been amazing. I can’t fathom how good they are playing. In the preseason, everyone is pumping up the Celtics/Lakers, Heat/Magic, Heat/Lakers, Thunder/Lakers matchups with all of those being interchangeable. Now, the Spurs vs Lakers is what I am most excited about, and what would you know, as if Santa came down and gave us an after Christmas treat. December 28, the two teams face off in what is to be expected the Western Conference Championship series. Of course, this is assuming both …

Entering in the NBA Season, a few questions lingered in the Southwest division. Is Chris Paul happy? Can he perform at the same level of a few years ago when the Hornets were one game away from going to the NBA Finals? As the Miami Heat enjoys it’s slaughtering of Phoenix last night with Chris Bosh finally showing up for game time and then ending with his ridiculous stupid comments, the man that was dealt to Minnesota for him to come there was making a game winning jumper to propel his team to a promising future. It’s only been a week and a half into the season and the change is so immense. I wish basketball cities like Boston, Chicago, LA, and the entire state of Texas could see …

With all of the free agent signings and trades this offseason, the hype is gone out of control with the upcoming Thunder, healthy San Antonio, supercharged Miami, and the defending champion, Lakers. All of the attention is paid to Lebron James, Amare Stoudemire, Chris Bosh, Carmelo Anthony, and Allen Iverson so ticket prices goes up and arenas sell out, but we are forgetting a major importance in this process. How about the coaches? Where is their love? Without them, these gents would be lost. A …

With Team USA winning the FIBA World Championship for the first time since 1994, a congratulation is in order. The team looked shaky in the beginning with different personalities and playing styles clashing, but game after game, you can see improvement. Then, they started to look like a team. It came together in the Brazil game. Tiego Splitter was tearing apart the interior D, and all seemed to be lost when turnover after turnover occurred. After all of these intangibles working against America’s club, every …
