On the day, we remember a visionary trying to bring peace in all races is celebrated with time off, documentaries and of course, all you can eat basketball. The day was filled with high flying action from the college and NBA game. The action started at noon time and went into two in the morning. It’s the next best thing to the first two days of March Madness. As Thanksgiving is to football, Martin Luther King is to basketball.
Not only were we treated to excellent games ...

ShareJavale McGee is one of the best shot blockers in the league, averaging 2.5 per contest but going against Trevor Ariza in the New Year proved to be a wrong move. Ariza is known for his high energy, high flying throw downs against bigger opponents. Last night in Washington, Trevor proved those accusations correct. McGee got POSTERIZED!

McGee was so upset, he let Chris Paul steal the ball and finish a wide open lay up. This was the back breaking moment in the game. The ...

ShareThroughout his career, Vince Carter has encountered a lot of scrutiny from his fake injuries to the abandonment of Toronto. He is the ultimate ‘what if’ player who if “he focused and put together all of his prototype talents in his prime, how high does he rise.” Carter was blessed with unbelievable talents. He took the league by storm in Toronto with his high flying dunks and ridiculous acrobatics through defenders en route to the rim. Everyone thought the world of him and comparisons to Julius ...

ShareThe Knicks have been awful in the last decade and Amare Stoudemire has been deemed a creation of Steve Nash. A player only set up by the highest caliber of dime dishing. An aberration to being a dunk only, no jumper, crappy rebounder, and lack-less defender. Now, Stoudemire is taking the Knicks to a level it is has not seen since the 90s. The two seem to need each other. Amare has an ego, a good one at that, but an ego without a doubt. ...

ShareYes, the Clippers are terrible, but with Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin providing a balance of long distance treys and dunk highlights. Actually, there isn’t a balance with that. Who the hell watches youtube videos of knocking three pointers (I do, Ray Allen is my favorite player)? Griffins is giving people a reason to go the see this team play. I am going to see him twice (New York and New Jersey). I may even drive down to Philadelphia to see Griffin play. He ...

One is how good the Thunder, or more importantly, Kevin Durant will be. The man is averaging 27 ppg while shooting 42% (career worst) from the floor, and an anemic 26% (another worst) from three point land. Durant takes 21 ...

ShareThroughout his long but still, very young career, Josh Smith of the Atlanta Hawks has treated us all with some disgusting dunk highlights. It’s about time we reflect on this as he continues to shine in the awe of the Human Highlight Reel: Dominique Wilkins. Of course, I would never compare the two, primarily because Mr. Smith will never reach the caliber of Mr. Wilkins but they are also two entirely different players.
I am going to be honest, I can ‘t stand when the ...

Now you know what you are dealing with. Poor Brandon Wright didn’t do his homework and in his lack of studies…He got POSTERIZED!

In addition, you get a nice Vince Carter highlight. Just a little something extra from NBAtoday….and Yahoo!

ShareWarning: Do not watch this if you are Hawks fan.
I got three words for you: BANGO THE BUCK!
This is the best video by a mascot, without a doubt. Sorry JB, I know you love your boy Clutch in Houston, but Bango the Buck jumped up about 9 pegs on my 10 peg scale… he’s at 15. Check out this video, you will not be disappointed but you may pee your pants… I almost did.

Also if you like high flying stunts, check out Bango’s half time performance the other night.
