Stackhouse to Sign with the Bucks; Marbury to Play in China?

The Bucks have signed Jerry Stackhouse for the remainder of the season according to ESPN.com. The terms of the contract were not released but this should provide a big boost to the Bucks. Other than Brandon Jennings, the Bucks really struggle to score from their backcourt especially with Michael Redd out for the remainder of the year. Stackhouse I think is a perfect fit for this team being they don’t have a shooting guard and Stack can still shoot the J. Stackhouse may be old, but he should be a good …

Ray Allen Outraged by All-Star Voting

Ray Allen is not only my favorite player, he is becoming one of my favorite people. After the entire NBAtoday.net staff bashed the fans (not our fans of course) for continuing to vote for Tracy McGrady and Allen Iverson into the starting position of both the Western and Eastern Conference teams, Allen is outraged. He suggests a limited accessibility for fans to vote, like having players meet certain standards, games played, and statistics. Another idea he produced was that 50% will be voted by the fans, and the other 50% …

Blake Griffin Out for the Season

Blake Griffin, this season’s #1 pick, is out for the year (joining 2007 #1 pick Greg Oden).  Just when everyone in Clipper Nation thought their savior was coming back to action in the next few weeks, Griffin was experiencing discomfort in his left patela, which was the original injury.  He will miss the season with surgery and will need 4-6 months for rehab.
After Griffin was examined Tuesday by doctors it was determined that the left patela didn’t heal at the excelerated level it should have and he will need to …

NBA Suspends Wizards G Arenas Indefinitely

NBA commissioner David Stern has suspended Wizards G Gilbert Arenas indefinitely for his poor judgment in bringing guns to the arena. Well, not just that, but also for the report of pulling a gun out on teammate Javaris Crittenton in the locker room. Whether or not that was true (which Arenas says was done as a joke), Arenas is creating an unfortunate image for NBA players and a poor model for children to follow.
I was surprised that Stern didn’t make this decision sooner. I expected Arenas to be suspended indefinitely …

Jayson Williams Is At It Again (No, Not Shooting Anyone)

Jayson Williams, former Net great, was charged with drunken driving early Tuesday morning (sometime after 3:15) after he had crashed his car into a tree as he veered off of an exit.  Just what Williams needs, a drunken driving charge while awaiting his manslaughter case.  I think it’s safe to say Williams is a dumbass, pardon my French.  Williams was trying to exit off of FDR Drive in Manhattan early this morning and crashed into a tree; when police got there Williams was in the passenger seat and he said …

Just over two months into the NBA season, every team has dealt with or is currently dealing with some sort of injury bug. Contrary to popular belief, good teams have to deal with injuries too! (they just have better help).. Here’s a few of the NBA’s finest teams that are in the midst of some serious injury issues.

Let’s start with the team that is struggling the most from some fallen stars. The Denver Nuggets have been without their leading scorers, Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups, for the last two games. …

Arenas Pulls a Gun on Teammate

Apparently Gilbert Arenas pulled a gun on teammate Javaris Crittenton after an argument ensued about a gambling dispute.  It was reported that the two made a bet and Arenas didn’t hold his end of the deal and they got in a verbal argument in the locker room.  Last week it was reported that Arenas had unloaded guns at the Verizon Center in DC, in order to get the guns out of his house to protect his daughter and the NBA was further investigating this issue.  From an article on espn.com while …
