New Orleans PG Chris Paul is injured, again. He hurt his knee late in regulation in an overtime game on Friday against the Bulls and missed Saturday’s game vs. Memphis. It was originally expected that Paul would only miss a few games, but he is now scheduled to have arthroscopic surgery on Monday. He will miss one to two months as a result.

Gilbert Arenas met with Commisionner David Stern today face-to-face for the first time since being suspended indefinitely.
Entering the meeting, Arenas had anticipated to be suspended for the remainder of the season, and that was exactly the punishment that he recieved. Javaris Crittenton, the other “gunman” in the Agent 0 comics is set to plead guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge just 10 days after Arenas pled guilty and approximately three weeks after he claimed he didn’t even come in contact with a gun in the locker room.  Today Crittenton was charged with two misdemeanors including possesion of an unregistered firearm and attempted carrying a pistol without a license.  Crittenton’s lawyer said that if he pleads guilty they are likely going to drop the second charge.  He also stated that Crittenton …

The 2010 Sprite Slame Dunk Contestants were released today inside of Penn Station in NYC.  A few days ago it was announced that DeMar DeRozan and Eric Gordon will star in the first ever dunk-off which will take place February 12th during the Rookie Challenge and Youth Jam event.  Joining either DeRozan or Gordon are 2009 defending champion (as well as 2006 champ) Nate Robinson, alongside Gerald Wallace and SHANNON BROWN.  I put Shannon Brown in caps because the dude pulls out dunk contest dunks in regular season games!
