Clippers Fire Coach Dunleavy, But There’s a Catch

Attention Clippers fan (yes, I’m saying there’s only one), you are one step closer to being a good franchise! …but you’re still about 1,927,204 steps away from reaching that goal.

The Los Angeles Clippers have dismissed head coach Mike Dunleavy from his main role of head coach, but not so fast…Dunleavy will remain a member of the front office. Last season, Elgin Baylor left as general manager and Dunleavy was given the combo job of coach and GM.
Yeah, we saw how that worked out.

After missing out on keeping Elton Brand to …

Arenas & Crittenton Suspended for Remainder of Year

Gilbert Arenas met with Commisionner David Stern today face-to-face for the first time since being suspended indefinitely.
Entering the meeting, Arenas had anticipated to be suspended for the remainder of the season, and that was exactly the punishment that he recieved. Stern was quoted as saying, “The issue here is not about the legal ownership and possession of guns, either in one’s home or elsewhere. It is about possession of guns in the NBA workplace, which will not be tolerated.”

2010 NBA All-Star Game Starters Announced

No one ever said this was a perfect system.
The NBA announced the starters for Februrary 14th’s All-Star Game in Dallas, and there was one choice that overshadowed all of the rest. Sixers G Allen Iverson was one of the 10 players chosen to represent the NBA, despite the fact that he has anything but an all-star type first half of the season.
But we’ll get to Iverson later. Let’s focus on the guys that deserved it more, at the least.
The rest of the East is full of some regulars. Heat G …
