*Scroll down to see the most recent updates!
The Houston Rockets have agreed in principle to acquire Kevin Martin from the Sacramento Kings. Kenny Thomas, Hilton Armstrong, and Sergio Rodriguez will join Martin in Houston. In return, Tracy McGrady will land either in Sacramento or New York.
That’s right, sources state that the Knicks may be involved as a third party in this trade. Tracy McGrady, Carl Landry, and Joey Dorsey will be joining the Kings and/or Knicks by the deadline. It is unknown who the Knicks have thrown into the fold …

Wednesday Trade Wrap-Up: Salmons to Bucks, Knicks Make Money Swap

*Scroll below for the latest updates.
As Thursday’s trade deadline approaches, Wednesday was full of speculation but it had some moves as well. Not only have the Cavs made a major move in acquiring Antawn Jamison (yes, I think that was a better pickup than Amare – I said it), but the Celtics are eager to finalize a deal for Mr. Dunk Contest Nate Robinson.
There were a couple more moves on Wednesday that were finalized, which were not quite as big name-wise, but they were moves that count for the future …

Antawn Jamison Heading to the Cavs

Antawn Jamison better be photogenic because he is joining LeBron James and his amazing photography skills in Cleveland.  Jamison is that piece that Cavs have been missing to make it to the NBA Finals and be victorious, or that’s the thought at least.  Jamison is a very skilled 6-8 power forward who can also take man outside and shoot the J or dribble drive by him.  Jamison for his career averages 19.9 ppg and 8.1 rpg.  He will definitely help out the Cavs who now have another option, outside of …

Nate Robinson Dunks His Way to Celtics

Looks like Nate Robinson can join the other Celtics that impressed on All-Star Saturday Night…
Nate the Great (?) has been traded to the Boston Celtics in a deal first reported by our boy JB. The Knicks reportedly will recieve Eddie House and a second round pick. This trade should be finalized sometime in the next 24 hours, so don’t be confused by the speculation.

Apparently the Celtics are really high on Nate, who had the option of not being traded I heard. This came out after the Grizzlies expressed interest …

News and Rumors: Camby to Portland

It’s been reported that Marcus Camby to the Blazers for Steve Blake, Travis Outlaw (who is expected back in March) and cash is all but a done deal.  Until it is officially signed by both teams and approved by David Stern this is obviously still a rumor but Outlaw’s agent basically confirmed that both teams agreed on the deal and the final step is sending it in for the final OK.
This is a blockbuster trade!  It may not have those huge blockbuster names involved but this trade could really put Portland in …

Mavs and Wiz Complete 7-Player Trade

Finally! A trade has gone down in the NBA!
After weeks of speculating a bunch of different trades all around the league, the Dallas Mavericks and the Washington Wizards have completed a semi-blockbuster deal to kick off the trade season. Here is a breakdown of the deal for each team:
Mavs get:
Caron Butler                  Brendan Haywood               DeShawn Stevenson                     Cash

Wizards get:
Josh Howard                Drew Gooden              Quinton Ross                   James Singleton

This move was made for one reason for each team:
Mavericks = talent. Wizards = money.
The Mavs were …

Clippers Fire Coach Dunleavy, But There’s a Catch

Attention Clippers fan (yes, I’m saying there’s only one), you are one step closer to being a good franchise! …but you’re still about 1,927,204 steps away from reaching that goal.

The Los Angeles Clippers have dismissed head coach Mike Dunleavy from his main role of head coach, but not so fast…Dunleavy will remain a member of the front office. Last season, Elgin Baylor left as general manager and Dunleavy was given the combo job of coach and GM.
Yeah, we saw how that worked out.

After missing out on keeping Elton Brand to …
