T-Mac Blows Up on Adelman

Tracy McGrady is NOT happy about sitting on the bench, inactive for the Rockets over the last couple of days.  McGrady said a couple weeks ago he planned to be ready on the 18th of November and that time has come and gone without seeing McGrady in a Rockets uniform… sort of.
Last night, despite knowingly being on the inactive list, McGrady wore his Rockets uniform and went through his normal pregram routines as if he were about to play.  McGrady has now sat out 42 consecutive games dating back to …

Jayson Williams To Plead Guilty, Serve Jail Time

Former Nets and Sixers F Jayson Williams agreed to a plea earlier in the day, according to an AP source.  Williams was going to have a retrial in January for a reckless manslaughter count but took the plea bargain instead.  Because a gun was involved in the charges, Williams must face the minimum of 18 months in jail.
For those of you who don’t remember this from back in 2002, two years after Jayson Williams retired due to knee problems, Williams was showing off his gun in his New Jersey estate when he …

Nola Jerseys Coming in February

The New Orleans Hornets have revealed their new Mardi Gras jerseys that they will be wearing for 4 games in February.  If I told you the jerseys say Nola on the front, are two-toned and one of those colors is purple you may never want to see these jerseys EVER be worn… but these are HOTT!
These new jerseys actually have Mardi Gras beads on the side of the jersey that zig-zag along the front and back.  That’s pretty sick.  If you remember, last year’s All-Star jerseys were two-toned with gold/white …

AI Released from the Grizzlies

AI’s time has come and gone with the Grizzlies.  After just 3 games and a few on and off the court matters the Grizzlies and Allen Iverson agreed to part ways.  In this past offseason, Iverson agreed on a 1-year/$3 million deal with the Grizzlies but after just 10 team games (3 of which he played in) he will earn the pro-rated amount.
Iverson left the Grizzlies on November 7th to deal with some personal matters off the court.  Everyone was speculating that is had to do with his lack of …

‘Big Shot Jack’ Shipped to Charlotte

In a move that should surprise no one, disgruntled Stephen Jackson was traded to the Charlotte Bobcats in a 2-for-2 player swap. Charlotte will also recieve reserve guard Acie Law, while they will send Raja Bell and Vladimir Radmanovic. The Warriors wanted to get talent in return of trading Jackson, but this was going to be a hard task as every single team knew that they wanted to get rid off him.
The Bobcats win by adding a scorer to their anemic offense. The Warriors win by getting rid of a …

Grizzlies Sign Jamaal Tinsley

With AI out indefinitely the Grizzlies were in need of some PG help to back up the young Mike Conley Jr.  They found their help in Jamaal Tinsley, who may I add hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2007-2008 season, to a one-year deal.
Tinsley has always had problems on an off the court and always seems to get hurt or find himself suspended from the league.  He has decent career averages of 10.4 ppg, 7 apg and 1.7 spg.  If he can stay healthy and get himself in shape …
