The Atlanta Hawks acquired guard Kirk Hinrich and forward Hilton Armstrong from Washington in exchange for guard Mike Bibby, guard Jordan Crawford and swingman Marice Evans. Both point guards have two years remaining on their contracts. One point guard joins a rebuilding team while the other tries to improve a playoff contender.

The struggling Hawks have made a good choice in trading the veteran point guard, Bibby. Hinrich not only makes that starting five a little bit younger but gives them a solid scoring threat for from behind the ...

This report was broken through by various sources in the Oklahoma City and Boston area.
After the Thunder lose a tough game to the San Antonio Spurs, GM Sam Presti brings in a qualified BIG to OKC.
Oklahoma City sends PF Jeff Green and C Nenad Krstic to Boston for C Kendrick Perkins and SG Nate Robinson.
This trade is great for both teams but more so for OKC. The two dilemnas for the Thunder are three point shooting and low post defenders. Both of those problems are taken ...

The following is based on sources from ESPN and other media outlets.
In the big shock of things for both teams, the NBA-worst, Cleveland Cavailiers ship Mo Williams and Jamario Moon to the Los Angeles Clippers for Baron Davis and a 2011 first round draft pick.
I love this trade for Cleveland simply because they are possibly going to recieve two Top 5 draft picks in this years draft. I understand this is a weak draft class, but if the Cavs can land Kyle Irving and Harrison Barnes (This is a ...

This report is based upon several reports in the New York area including ESPN
The Nets are pulling some amazing moves, from forcing New York to overcompensate for Carmelo Anthony to now, acquiring arguably the best point guard in the league, Deron Williams.
Pending the NBA’s approval, the Nets will get Williams and Utah will recieve raw rookie PF Derrick Favors and PG Devin Harris. This is a great trade for New Jersey and an interestingly confusing one for Utah.
A few weeks ago, Williams was reported to be the main culprit ...

Late last night before midnight, Knicks acquired Carmelo Anthony in a three-way deal including Minnesota. Denver will get Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov and the Knicks’ 2014 first-round draft pick, the Warriors 2012 second-round pick, the Warriors’ 2013 second-round pick and $3 million in cash. Along with Melo, New York will receive Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Corey Brewer, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman. According to the Denver Post, New York will send Anthony Randolph and Eddy Curry to Minnesota as part of the deal.

Last week, I interviewed Dennis Velasco of NetsareScorching of ESPN’s True Hoop Sector to not only ignite the knowledge of you, the fans, but myself as well because God knows I need it. So to keep the trend flowing, I decided to get in touch with Carey Smith of ESPN’s Philadunkia. To the great power of the basketball gods, Carey agreed to do the interview and enlighten me about everything and anything Sixers. Make sure you check out Philadunkia…solid stuff from podcasts to in depth game recaps.

The following is simply opinion on trade rumors given by various sources, specifically ESPN
With the Melodrama heating up in New York and Minnesota, some speculation is in order. Denver has yet to speak on the matter while both Minnesota and New York have stated the speculated trade of New York getting Carmelo Anthony, Minnesota receiving Eddy Curry and Anthony Randolph, and Denver receiving Wilson Chandler, Corey Brewer, and Minnesota’s 2011 first round draft pick is extremely out of context.
Donnie Walsh was even quoted in the Daily News, “there is ...

So what to do to cure the ailments destroying mine and your love of the NBA? Hire a professional. So since I am in the lovely state of New Jersey, I thought it would be great to start there.

The following are just opinions and views on Trade Rumors reported by various different sources, specifically ESPN.
OJ Mayo maybe be on the move after he serves his 10 game suspension according to NBA front-office sources. There isn’t any team standing out in the conversation but it’s due to Memphis waiting to discuss with any GM’s about the Grizzlies swing man.
Memphis wants the most amount of value for Mayo and dealing him now may be a steal for another GM and nobody wants another Pau Gasol trade. ...
