When you have a nickname such as AK-47 as a basketball player you MUST be a bad ass, this USE to be the case for Andrei Kirilenko. From 2003-2006 AK-47 averaged over 15 ppg, over 7 rpg and over 3 bpg. The man was an absolute beast, but over the last three seasons Kirilenko has averaged 10+ ppg, under 5 rpg and under 2 bpg. Charles Barkley has said some dumb things in his broadcasting career and usually speaks without thinking, which is what makes him so funny. But his comments about the Knicks and how they are treating the summer of 2010 hit the nail on the head. The Phoenix Suns claimed Jarron Collins off waivers and were “awarded” the claim on Sunday. WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE THEY THINKING.
I understand Robin Lopez is hurt and they need size in the paint but that is literally all Collins provides, a 6’11″ frame. Collins is such trash and I think he qualifies as a top 3 worst big man of all-time. He brings nothing to the table and was blessed with height, but that is all that got him to the NBA.

Shaq? Not anymore now that they’re teammates. Dwight Howard? He did knock him out of the ’09 playoffs, but that’d be no fun; he’s in the NBA. Well, LeBron wouldn’t get political, would he? Umm, yes, and let’s hope it doesn’t happen again.
