Of all places that saw a dramatic hike …

You Can’t Coach Height….So What!

When I was a youngster, I had the same dreams as most. I wanted to be an NBA player one day. Sure it sounded crazy, but I figured, “Why not?” Year after year, I played on rec teams and traveling teams, honing my skills. Upon entering high school, I even gave up soccer to run cross country, because I figured it would get me in better shape for basketball. Well that winter, my dreams were crushed and I didn’t make the team. Most will tell you I wasn’t the greatest …

In no particular order I have compiled a list of my top 10 potential breakout players for this 2009-2010 season.  Some players listed have averaged over 10 ppg for their first few years in the league; some may have only been in the league for a year but now they are being more heavily relied on by their coach and teamates and in my opinion will “breakout”.  See who made the list below…
1. Trevor Ariza (Rockets-SG)  - Trevor Ariza is the best shooter on my top 10 but was only utilized …

If you don’t have a twitter, you should get one now!  Nowadays celebrities, including basketball players, are giving fans a deeper look into their lives than in the past.  You can follow players like Shaq, Dwight Howard, Danny Granger, Brandon Jennings, and the list goes on.  Here is a video posted by Thundercats rookie, James Harden (@JHard13).  It is a video of Harden, Kevin Durant, and Jeff Green in their down time messing around and lip syncing Trey Songz, “Say Aah.”  All that is missing is Russell Westbrook, where you …

Looking Through the Hour Glass

The Cleveland Cavaliers are 3-3 including losing 2 at home, already tying the accumulation of home losses from all of last season. The schedule has been tough, and they are trying to fit Shaq into the half court set, but what is wrong? Why can’t LeBron James find another outfit to help him out? Where is Mo Williams? Did anybody tell him that the season begun? Will everyone find out that trading for Shaq was a terrible move?
A lot of these questions will soon be answered, but to what degree. …
