Power Rankings: Week 18
I wanted to wait a week to see if all of these trades would affect my judgment on the initial knee jerk reaction. Of course, there was plenty of speculation from all over the NBA World, but being patient will tell the tale most clearly.
Well folks, my strategy didn’t work. I am honestly more confused now than when all of the blockbuster trades happened. I don’t know if the Celtics became better or worse, same for the Hawks, Clippers & Cavs. The Thunder ...

The Oklahoma City Thunder certainly are the team to watch with Kevin Durant and Russel Westbrook in the lineup. These two prolific scores certainly can bring the house down with there offensive explosiveness. This fearsome twosome account for 49.4 points per night. The Oklahoma City Thunder can put points on the board, but there commitment to defense is whats really impressive.
There defense can shut down opponents in all defensive categories including rebounds, steals, blocks, and points allowed. They allow 102 points per game while scoring 104 of there own. The ...

This report was broken through by various sources in the Oklahoma City and Boston area.
After the Thunder lose a tough game to the San Antonio Spurs, GM Sam Presti brings in a qualified BIG to OKC.
Oklahoma City sends PF Jeff Green and C Nenad Krstic to Boston for C Kendrick Perkins and SG Nate Robinson.
This trade is great for both teams but more so for OKC. The two dilemnas for the Thunder are three point shooting and low post defenders. Both of those problems are taken ...

He’s back, He’s back and OHhhh, what a feeling! Kris from NBADraftinsider join the ranks for the second time to talk college prosepcts in the first part and Rookies in the second. But don’t worry if you think that’s all we talked about. During the middle, Ray Allen broke the 3 point mark, passing Reggie Miller, so naturally, Kris and I discussed the man’s career and what his record means to me, his biggest fan. Also, in discussion, Jerry Sloan’s shocking retirement. So there ...

Ever listen to this song by OAR called a ‘Crazy Game of Poker’? It’s fantastic. The song and lyrics is self explanatory. It’s catchy and one of the best summer songs.

Yep, there are two parts
Denver’s GM Masai Ujiri most likely loves this song
The Carmelo Anthony talks have been extreme and rash, hopeful and heartbreaking, but most of all, frustrating.
The Denver Nuggets have taken the edge in the trade battle. NBA vs. CBA talks are right around the corner and Anthony is ...

Power Rankings: Week 13
Well folks, it’s all downhill from here. Every team has at least played 41 games and can only hope to do three things as April approaches: improve, prepare for the playoffs, or biding time until the draft. All and all, excitement will continue to grow upon the NBA fanhood with the All Star Game and trade deadline coming up after football is finished.
There is still a lot of basketball to be played and top tier teams like the Spurs, Clippers and Lakers still ...

This season thus far, fans have seen a plethora of highs and lows, in all levels of extremities. The season just passed it’s midway point and the rumors are swirling entering All Star Weekend and the trade deadline. The Melo talks are hot (of course), Rip Hamilton wants out of Detroit, and Peja is heading to Dallas. But with all of this drama of what if’s and what could be’s, let’s pay attention to the good and bad in the NBA thus far.
Let’s give some Mid Season Awards:

The Atlanta Hawks has always been quiet the passed few years even though they have improved their winning pct. each season. In 2008, the team shocked the NBA world taking the Celtics to 7 games in the opening round series, cementing their future as a team to be taken seriously. The following two seasons, the Hawks put up back to back 45 plus win seasons including 53 a year ago. The team barely beat Milwaukee (The Bucks lost the series more than Atlanta won it) and was ...

I have avoided this for almost half of the season. I didn’t want to mention him until I truly had to.
Well, ladies and gents, Lebron James has done something so ridiculous, so utterly retarded, I had to add my opinion on it.
The Miami Heat are the hottest team in the NBA with Lebron James and Dwyane Wade both leading possible MVP candidacies respectively. They could even vouch for the first teammates to win CO-MVP’s. Why not? The two are unstoppable in the fast break ...
