ShareIn my last post, I went over future NBA talent, focusing on a chosen few to build up for the draft in June. It was a big success. I missed a few players and you, the reader, pleasantly filled the void.
College basketball has been fantastic this year with scintillating and courageous performances. The games have been gritty and relentless with superb finishes and shocking upsets. The game continually gets better, even with that stupid player control foul rule. Players are stepping up and becoming prospects for a future NBA champion. ...

ShareLast week was rivalry week and the next two are bubble weeks in the College Basketball world. It doesn’t get much more exciting than this as the pressure mounts for teams like UCONN, Rhode Island, San Diego State, and many others. Clutch is the key word in these trying times. Who can rise to the occasion and who is meant to fail. Only time will tell, and the players that are destined for greatness will know what to do. There is no such thing as fate, one has to create ...

ShareThe countdown to March Madness is T-Minus 3 weeks and I can barely contain myself. I have literally lost it and it’s awesome. I found myself wiping my extremities… after I took a piss. It’s crazy I know, but that’s why they call it March Madness, and thinking about big teams like Kansas, Kentucky, Villanova, and Michigan State making a run out the final four with NBA prospects Scottie Reynolds, John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Kalin Lucas, and Sherron Collins leading their respected teams to College Basketball glory ...

ShareWow, a lot of Top 25 teams played yesterday. Actually all except 2 were action on College Saturday highlighted by No. 8 Georgetown taking on No. 2 Villanova in the nation’s capital. Kentucky tries to regain it’s composure from their loss against the Gamecocks, and Michigan State faces off with Illinois in a Big Ten battle. A lot of action, and it’s three weeks from March Madness. I can barely contain my emotion. I have the Future is Ready post coming out this week to illustrate all of the NBA interest. ...

ShareLet’s Go. College Basketball had some amazing games yesterday. The West Virginia/Syracuse ending was terrific, and Texas survives in OT. John Wall helps the Wildcats get past an underrated Auburn team. A lot of action. How good is Scottie Reynolds, he dropped 36 at Louisville in a Big East battle, and made a big time bucket in the waning seconds against Georgetown today. A game where Greg Monroe scored 29 points and grabbed 16 rebounds. Entering the Big Ten, Evan Turner is back ...

ShareCollege Basketball is heating up. I have been playing NBA Jam lately because the Wii just added to it the downloadable games, and I am addicted. Best basketball video game of all time, no question. Wait a minute, I am getting carried away here…
Yesterday, a lot of big upsets occurred with in conference games well under way. Duke and Purdue fall out of the top 5 and we saw players I have been talking about for a little while now dropping big buckets and leading their respected teams to victory. ...

ShareI hope everyone had a fantastic New Year. Go Huge! Great games this Saturday, a few upsets, fantastic in-conference matchups, and primetime players stepping up in big time moments. All adding up to great basketball and prelude to future talent in the NBA. John Wall, Damion James, and Luke Harangody improved their stock with solid performances while helping their respected teams to wins. I can’t wait until March Madness comes around. That is when we will see who really has what it takes…
Also, look out for “The Future is Ready” ...

ShareWow, what a great weekend in college basketball. Big time matchups, big time players, and big time upsets. This week we had Georgetown, Tennessee, Florida, and Texas Tech lose to smaller schools to shake up the rankings and my NBA player watch. John Wall continues to prove he is the number 1 draft pick while Da’Sean Butler’s stock improves daily, and how about Damion James, a double-double machine (42 total) for Texas. Syracuse continues to build and develop NBA ready players (Wesley Johnson). Jim Boehim is college coach with an ...

ShareAs I am wathcing (6) Syracuse take on (11) Florida in the SEC- Big East Challenge on ESPN, I can’t help but love David Stern’s installment of forcing high school players to go to college for at least one year. It’s better for the NCAA and NBA, and this year has the best freshmen class, maybe ever. So it got me thinking, with all of this NBA ready talent, who is producing the most, or better put, who is producing thus far. It’s in the early season and NBA talent ...
