Playoff Preview in Cleveland, Bucks Clinch, Instant Classic Between Jazz/Thunder
WOW, what a game for the ages. Deron Williams dropped a career high 42 including the game winning jumper with a second left on the clock while KD was just 3 points from his career high after dropping 45. This game had a wild ending as KD had 12 points in the last 5 minutes of the game. Jeff Green tied the game near the end of regulation with a huge 3 and the Thunder actually had a chance to win in regulation with .5 left. KD took a turnaround 50 foot fade away that back rimmed.
In the OT, Williams and Durant were trading baskets, it was insane. So many other players stepped up in this game was well. Green had 20, Westbrook 27 and Harden 15. For the Jazz it was Boozer with 28 and Okur with 20. This could potentially be a playoff matchup. Right now the Jazz are the lone 2 seed a half game ahead of 3 other teams and the Thunder are the 7 seed. This will be a GREAT series if it happens.
Cavs 113, Raptors 101
Two minutes into the game and superstar Chris Bosh was out, almost out cold after being elbowed in the nose by Jamison (by accident) that led to Bosh crumbling to the floor bleeding. Bosh has a fractured jaw and nose and there is no timetable for his return. The Raptors are only one game ahead of the Bulls for the final playoff spot and it’s not looking too good. Really neither team has a shot to beat Cleveland but I do wish Bosh the best. This game featured 38 assists from the Cavs including 13 from LeBron and 12 from Mo Williams.
Bucks 79, Bulls 74
Despite not having Bogut on the floor the Bucks managed to win an ugly one. They were led by Salmons who scored 26 points which was almost 33% of the entire teams scoring. The Bulls really could have used a W to take a step closer to the playoffs but blew their chances at home. The Bucks have clinched a playoff appearence for the first time in a few years.
-The Basher

The Refs could have just cost the Thunder potentially the 2 seed with that no call on Kevin Durant at the end of OT. Seriously, what were they looking at? I usually don’t believe in home court advantage with officials, but that was an obvisious one. The refs were afraid to call a foul in SLC. Simple as that
If Jazz/Thunder have a series similar to what happened last night, it will easily overtake the Celts/Bulls series as probably the most exciting series I’ve ever watched.
I’m praying for this matchup.
