Eddie Jordan Fired as Sixers Coach After One Season

One season in, Jordan is out.
The Sixers have fired head coach Eddie Jordan, despite just hiring him last year. Him and his Princeton offense brought the Sixers to an outstanding 27-55 record. Oh wait, that’s a HRBL record.
Jordan was brought in by GM Ed Stefanski, who was previously with the Nets – a team where Jordan was an assistant coach for a few seasons. And it was Stefanski who announced the move by saying the team took an “unacceptable” step backward after two straight seasons in the playoffs. This team almost upset the Magic last postseason!
This is actually a circumstance where I think the general manager is to blame. Jordan was not a good fit here with the roster the way it was going into the season. So why blame Jordan? Well, it’s all about a scapegoat, and Stefanski is higher. Seriously, what has Stefanski done that proves his worth as a good GM for Philly? Nothing. Just ask our boy G…
So where do the Sixers go from here? I think that they do whatever they can to get Larry Brown to return to the team after coaching in Charlotte. He is defensive minded, and can deal with just about any situation (i.e. – The Answer, Allen Iverson). He seems like the only hope now to bring this team back to the glory days.
So where does Jordan go from here? I’m actually hoping Jordan returns to his roots and goes to coach Rutgers University. That may be a pipe dream, but I’ve heard rumors! Other than that, his .428 winning percentage as a head coach in the NBA will not fare well in finding a new job right away.

I refused to do this post, simply because I didn’t even want to bring attention to the Sixers.
Sure I’d like having Larry Brown, but at the same time I think Philly needs a breath of fresh air. Where will that air come from? No clue haha.
Stefanski needs to go ASAP.
I knew you wouldn’t want to talk about this G, so I jumped on it hoping you’d comment (actually, I was going to force you to comment by the weekend).
Obviously Stefanski needs to go, but they need a legit identity, which they don’t have right now. That’s why I brought up Larry Brown, because he wouldn’t have it stay the same as it is now.
