LeBron James has done it folks.  He officially put in the paperwork to change his number from 23 to 6 as he speculated back in November.

I’ve done it,” James said. “I already sent it in. I’m going to be number 6.”

Every single Knicks’ fan’s heart stopped for 30 seconds after reading this thinking since he is going for a number change he will stay with Cleveland no?  Not necessarily, the jerseys aren’t be made just yet so if LeBron chooses to leave the Cavs he has to submit the paperwork all over again!  OH NO!  I wonder if LeBron will go through all that trouble of filling out a couple pages here and there just to switch teams?  Seems kind of redundant, no?

LeBron is now playing mind games with every NBA fan wondering well damn is he staying or going now they he filed this paperwork.  Why didn’t he just wait until after this summer?  Who knows, who cares but once he finally changes his number I hope it doesn’t sell more than Kobe’s number change jersey.
