Knicks Win in Convincing Fashion, Bucks Moving On Up, Suns Rollin’
For the 2nd time since the McGrady trade the Knicks have won a game. It was a 24 point womping on the lonely Detroit Pistions. Not only did the Knicks win but McGrady, Harrington, Lee and House (the teams big 4) all had great games. T-Mac has rebounded after a couple of poor shooting games and had a solid night scoring 21 points on 6-12 shooting plus 8 assists and 7 rebounds. David “Double-Double” Lee had a hhhnasty game with 21 points-18 boards-8 assists. Eddie House came off the bench to provide that spark for the Knicks who were +25 when he was on the floor.
As for the Pistons they had $20 million come off the bench yet again with Villanueva and Gordon. Maybe two of the worst contracts in the NBA right now considering they aren’t helping the Pistons win at all. Congrats to Bill Walker for a career high with 22 points in 36 minutes. The Knicks are BACK!
Clown of the game: Rip Hamilton. He had 9 points on 3-9 shooting and wore that stupid mask.
Bucks 100, Wizards 87
The Bucks are rollin’ right now with John Salmons leading the squad in scoring yet again. He had another 22 points and don’t look now but the Bucks are the 6th seed at 31-29 and they are just a half game out of overtaking the Raptors for the 5th seed. Ilyasova had a solid game with 19-10-6. Andre Blatche continues to impress in his new starting roll as he put up 18-9 for the Wiz.
Clown of the game: Brandon Jennings was 2-12 shooting with 6 turnovers… ouch. But they still won, clown or no clown.
Suns 127, Clippers 101
This game shows why Steve Nash is a top 5 MVP candidate every year. A side by side comparison shows that neither Nash nor his counterpart Baron Davis shot well (each going 1-5) while Nash had 13 assists and Davis had 11. Both great stats but Nash’s team puts up 127 points. The guy doesn’t need to score to win because he is dishing to Channing Frye who dropped 23 points on 7 3′s. Davis on the other hand needs to score and play well for his team to win. This may not be a completely fair assesment because the calibur of teams that are own the floor but you get my gist, Nash for MVP.
Clown(s) of the game: The Ref and Shooting for both claiming at one point that the Suns will NOT make the playoffs after a 1-2 week stretch of tough losses.
-The Basher

To defend Shooter and I, it wasn’t a 1-2 week spand. It was a month and a half to a 2 month span. Either of us wouldn’t have rushed to that decision so quickly, we’re better than that.
Thanks for the shoutout though.
