Granger Halts Bobcats Win Streak; LeBron Has Another Triple-Double; Spurs are HOT!
Pacers 99, Bobcats 94
I honestly cannot remember the last time I did a recap that had the Pacers winning a game so I decided to cover this game tonight. With Gerald Wallace of the Bobcats out with an ankle sprain the Pacers did just enough to win. The Pacers capitalized in Wallace’s absence by scoring thirty-two points in the second quarter. Danny Granger led the Pacers with 26 points (9-25 from the field) and Troy Murphy had 16 points and 13 rebounds. Mike Dunleavy had 15 points off the bench after missing a game due to getting hit with a ball during warm-ups (is this really true?!?!?!?!). Stephen Jackson play a solid game despite struggling from the field. He finished with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. It has been said time and time again, but who knew trading for Jackson would turn out to be such a great deal. Boris Diaw also scored 20 points for the Bobcats while Stephen Graham added 19. Danny Granger was knocked out of this game in the final minutes as he took a hard hit. Lets hope he is okay.
Cavaliers 113, Pistons 101
Despite playing on the road, this was an automatic victory for the Cavs tonight. This loss drops the Pistons to a 16-19 record at the Palace this year. I wonder when was the last time the Pistons had a losing record at home? LeBron James had his 28th triple-double of his career has he scored 29 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and dished out 12 assists. Mo Williams added 20 points and newcomer Antawn Jamison had 15 points and 10 rebounds. For those counting the Cavs “Big 3″ contributed to 64 of the Cavs 113 points. Move aside Boston, your “Boston Threeparty” is no match. I honestly do not know if the Pistons will ever be good again with the pieces they have right now. When I think of Detroit I picture myself trying to complete a puzzle where none of the pieces fit together. Rip Hamilton had 24 points and the rest of the other four starters at least scored in double figures. Ben Gordon, the Pistons highly paid 6th man, had 4 points. On a positive note, Charlie Villanueva, the most expensive 7th in the league, actually scored in double-digits, finishing with 16 points.
Spurs 88, Heat 76
Now this is San Antonio Spurs basketball. Manu Ginobili stepped up and showed the intensity that the Spurs continually need. Manu scored 22 points and George Hill added 16 points as the Spurs won their eight game in nine tries. Tim Duncan was cold from the field, but that did not stop him from notching a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Dwyane Wade (28 points) was the only bright spot for the Heat as they were held under twenty points in two of the quarters. This included a fourteen point first quarter that the Heat could never recover from.

He is back for good. Tonight is game is testimony to that. Never say NO to to him, because that’s when you will unleashed the beast in him. And that’s when it’s going tougher for anyone who plays against him.
Now the only thing is left is for the Spurs front office to give him an extension. The idea of seeing Manu in another jersey, is a proposition that I hate the most. I’ve said it before and I will said it gain, he destined to be a Spurs and he must be a Spurs for many years to come.
