Andray Blatche
Tonight Shooter and I drove to the IZOD Center to watch the New Jersey Nets square off against the Washington Wizards. Little did we know, that Andray Blatche decided to put on a show. Blatche finished with 36 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 assists. Blatche is a guy who was drafted straight out of high school late in the second round in 2005. The past two seasons he came off the bench being fairly productive for the Wizards. As most of you know that the Wizards have decided to rebuild their team from scratch by shipping Antawn Jamison (Cavs), Caron Butler (Mavs), and Brendan Haywood (Mavs) to other teams. No one is really sure what they will be doing with Gilbert Arenas once he is back from suspension. While this has happened, Blatche has embraced his new role as the “Go to Guy.” If you do not know who he is, I promise that you will by this season’s end.
