Nightmares Never Sleep…The Air Jordan 2010

19 February 2010 2,860 views One Comment

The Shoe: The Air Jordan 2010- The latest Jordan sneaker marks the 25th Anniversary of the most groundbreaking sneaker line in our history. The shoe was designed by shoe legends, Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith. ($169.99)

Whats New? We know each Jordan shoe typically has a unique feature to it that separates it from other sneakers. This year is no different as Hatfield and Smith added a clear window on the side of the shoe, which symbolizes “looking inside of Michael Jordan and his game.”

What’s Not? The shoe, like many previous editions is lightweight and great fitting. It is an easily broken in shoe, partially due to a thinner “Air” bag that allows a player to feel the floor. The concept behind modern basketball sneakers is to create a lightweight shoe that is still durable, while also allowing for quick movement up and down the court. The Air Jordan 2010 provides just that.

Grades: (On Court/Off Court): A-/C+

The shoe was released February 13th, headlined by Mr. Dwyane Wade. Check out behind the scenes of the “Nightmares Never Sleep” Commercial along with another video with an inside look on the design of the shoe.

Part of me wants to cop these, but the other half is saying “Stick with the number Jordans!” Ah, to be too deep in the shoe game. Actually I am thinking about copping a pair of BoomDizzle’s (Baron Davis for those who don’t know) Li-Ning Doom’s for $99 to ball in.
