Newest Wizard, Howard, Out For the Season

Josh Howard, the big catch for the Wizards in the Caron Butler swap, is out for the remainder of this season with a torn ACL.  I know the ACL is a tough injury to recover from and a long recovery as well so Howard may miss some of next season (but that’s just speculation, by me).  Howard torn the ACL in last night’s game in the 1st quarter and has been battling ankle injuries all season long.  There is no deny that Howard has lots of talent but he hasn’t play a full season in 7 NBA seasons (including this one).

Games played for Howard by season:

’03-’04 (67)
’04-’05 (76)
’05-’06 (59)
’06-’07 (70)
’07-’08 (76)
’08-’09 (52)
’09-’10 (35)

Oh yeah, and there was that thing about weed too.  I hope Howard recovers and has a successful career from here on out.  I like watching him play in college and it’s carried over to the NBA (although he’s had a lot of reasons for me to not like him).

I feel bad, I know it was only three games but he was playing well for them.
