I was alerted to this event because I have my Google Alerts set to the term "ice cleat" since I work for a Maine company, 32north, that makes ice cleats. I really, really wanted to send the players some of our Stabilicers Sports cleats (designed for athletic use) but the it was brought to my attention from someone at the Portland Red Claws (NBA development league) that our largest size (L -12.5) would NOT fit the shoes of the players - too small... bummer! All the same - it was a great story and I posted the link about the game on our fanpage for others to see. Just goes to show you - great skill and athletic ability can be transferred to any medium! Now that they have defeated ice what is next anyway! Great job! This is great!
