Steve Nash is currently 3rd in the All-Star voting for guards in the Western Conference according to it’s last release on December 31, 2009.  Nash unfortunately trails Tracy McGrady in voting by a small amount.  A lot of players who are on the verge of making the All-Star Game each year will try to do a self-promotion whether it be on their website, a commercial and now twitter.  I read last week that Nash was approached about making a video to get people to vote for the 5-time All-Star.

Steve Nash is hilarious and if you thought that was good check out the Vitamin Water commercials from his website.  He said in the interview that he was trying to think of the most embarassing highlights from the past couple of years to throw them into this promo and he sure found a gem of him getting dunk on!  Nash just loves making fun of himself and it’s great that the 2-time MVP has such a sense of humor.  It would be disgraceful if he doesn’t get voted in as a starter into the All-Star game this year.  Nash is having a great year averaging 18.7 ppg and leading the league with 11.2 apg and 94% from the FT line.  Nash is also shooting 43% from 3-point range.
