Stackhouse to Sign with the Bucks; Marbury to Play in China?

The Bucks have signed Jerry Stackhouse for the remainder of the season according to ESPN.com. The terms of the contract were not released but this should provide a big boost to the Bucks. Other than Brandon Jennings, the Bucks really struggle to score from their backcourt especially with Michael Redd out for the remainder of the year. Stackhouse I think is a perfect fit for this team being they don’t have a shooting guard and Stack can still shoot the J. Stackhouse may be old, but he should be a good vocal leader on the team and help take some jump shooting pressure off of Jennings. I don’t know if Stack will start right away but over time I could see him in that 2-guard spot playing about 25-30 minutes per night and with the Bucks just 2 games out of the 8th see, anything can happen.

Grade for the Bucks: B; again with Stackhouse experience it will help this fairly young team.  Stackhouse can put up points in a hurry too averaging 18.3 ppg for his career.

Stephon Marbury is back in basketball but this time taking his game to China!  STARBURY IS BACK BABY!  Marbury will play for the Shanxi Club in China and this move is 100% to boost ticket sales for the Shanxi team that is 15th in attendance out of 17 teams.  In the report from The Washington Post it was said that Marbury’s salary, “would not be too high.”  I don’t know what that means, but the main reason for that is Marbury can be Starbury in China.  The people are going to love him and he is going to do what he wants.  He is accepting less money to go there, not to try and help a team win, but to help promote his shoes!  Now that Steve and Barry’s is out of business who is going to buy his $8 shoes?  Where do they even sell them anymore?

These, and many more questions should be answered in the next coming weeks when Marbury begins to take over China, while in uniform!

Grade for China (the country): F; this is Marbury we are talking about people!
