New Additions This Week: DeJuan Blair, Jonas Jerebko

1. Tyreke Evans – Everytime you think he is going to be down and out he steps up and drops 25.  He is still averaging 20-5-5 on the season and doesn’t appear to be slowing down; although his Kings, do.
2. Stephen Curry –Last week, Curry played an entire game (again) and had 18 points, 6 boards, 4 assists and 6 steals.  Curry is an underratted defending on a terrible defensive team.
3. Omri Casspi– Casspi’s minutes will dwindle a little thanks to Kevin Martin being back and his shot efficiency has suffered since then shooting 11-27 in his last 3.
4. Brandon Jennings– Jennings has been an assist machine lately, averaging 8.25 in four games last week.  That is the type of play the Bucks are looking for in Jennings and he needs to keep this up for them to win.
5. James Harden – Harden has scored double digits in 5 of his last 6 games.  In those 6 games he’s made 9 3-pointers and the Thunder are 4-2.
6. Taj Gibson – Gibson is a rebounding monster, he’s snagged 140 defensive boards this year and 100 offensive!  That’s impressive for anyone, not just a rookie.
7. Jonny Flynn – Flynn shot HRBL-y last week, averaging just 8.3 ppg in 3 games and shot 21% from the floor.  If he was on a good team he probably wouldn’t get any burn this year.
8. Ty Lawson - Lawson only played one game since the last rankings but it was a decent one; 11 points and 2 steals with just 1 turnover in 27 minutes.  Somehow Lawson didn’t record an assist though.
9. DeJuan Blair - Coach Pops has realized he needs to start the youth at the center position and he has done that with Blair who has responded with a 21, 16 and 13 rebound games in his last 4.  Wow, impressive.
10. Jonas Jerebko – He’s made his return to the rankings; he’s just so consistant to not put him on here.  When he gets the minutes he plays well and averages 10-5 on most nights.

I find it hard to look at this list and not see DeMar DeRozan on it. He is a big contributor to Toronto’s success and is the one player that plays defense on the team.

I’d say he’s top 15, but definitely not top 10.
