Despite 44 From Bosh Raptors Lose; Thunder and Hornets Come Out Victorious Late

Bucks 113, Raptors 107

Despite 44 points and 12 rebounds from Chris Bosh, the Raptors still lost a close game.  This game basically proves that the Raptors, despite being in the playoff mix, are NOT a good team.  These guys just don’t play defense and that includes Bosh.  When you give up over 100 points per game, you usually don’t win.  The Bucks were led by 27 and 12 from Andrew Bogut who carried the team with Delfino who had 22.  The Bucks committed just 7 turnovers all game and shot 46% despite Jennings going 5-21 from the floor.

Clown of the game: Andrea Bargnani.  He was 4-13 from the field with 10 points; he averages 17 on the season.

Thunder 94, Timberwolves 92

Despite going scoreless for the last 2 minutes of the game and coming up empty on their last 5 posessions (3 turnovers, 2 missed shots) the Thunder squeaked out a win to become a franchise best 6 games over .500 at 24-18.  The Thunder were led by, who other than Kevin Durant, who dropped 31.  There isn’t a team in the NBA who can stop KD from dropping 30+, the only thing stopping him is an off shooting not or poor shot selection.  Harden had a nice game off the bench scoring 12 points with 3 assists and 3 boards.  Kevin Love sat this one out so Jefferson was their only big and he had 20 and 9 because the Thunder have no low post defense but the Wolves still couldn’t get it done.

Clown of the game: Russell Westbrook.  He was 3-10 from the floor and had 7 turnovers, ouch.  He’s to blame if they lost.

Hornets 113, Grizzlies 111

What a game, what a finish.  The Grizzles found themselves down 10 at halftime but a huge advantage in the third quarter (31-18) gave them a four point lead heading into the fourth.  Rudy Gay found his Grizzlies down by 3 with under 10 seconds on the clock when he hit a 3-pointer in CP3′s face to tie it at 111.  The hero of this game was… Chris, no wait not Chris Paul, but James Posey!  He made a layup with 1.1 seconds on the clock and drew the foul.  After the Grizzlies rebounded the missed free throw they had 0.8 seconds to get a shot off but the inbound play was swatted away, game over.

Suns 118, Nets 94

The Suns were just toying with the Nets by holding just an 11-point lead heading into the fourth quarter before blowing up on the Nets and more than doubling their lead.  This game was a battle of the Lopez brothers who each played extremely well.  The moral victory goes to Brook for getting better stats than Robin, but Robin made his 2nd start this year and had 20-7.  That’s got to be a career game for him including college and his one year in the NBA.  He’s beginning to thrive with Nash at point.  Jason Richardson came off the bench and dropped 26 on the night.  Surprisingly the Suns only comitted 10 turnovers and for the game Nash had 15 assists.

Clown of the game:  Devin Harris.  He’s been a huge disappointment this year and tonight was nothing new after he shot 4-14 with just 11 points and 4 turnovers.  Unacceptable.

Jazz 105, Spurs 98

Andre Kirilenko had a scoring outburst after sucking for much of this year.  He had 26 points and 8 boards to compliment Boozer’s 31-13.  The Jazz went into San Antonio and stole one on the road against the Spurs who have been playing very well as of late.  For the Spurs, they are now starting DeJuan Blair who is a rebounding machine at 6’7″ and he snagged 11 on the night to help the Spurs outrebound the Jazz but it still wasn’t enough.

Clown of the game:  CJ Miles.  He was 0-5 in 17 minutes and collected 5 fouls.  Not a productive day at the office.

Nuggets 123, Warriors 115

This game featured A LOT of scoring and a LACK OF DEFENSE which we all knew it would.  There were 3 players who scored 30 or more points.  For the Nuggets, Billups had 37 and for the Warriors Maggette had 33 and Ellis had 39.  What a crazy fun game to watch live I’m sure.  The best part is the Warriors scored 118 and only shot 43%!  They were terrible from 3-point land gonig 9-29, ouch.

Clown of the game:  MELO.  Melo had 23 points but on 7-22 shooting and had 5 turnovers.

Clippers 104, Bulls 97

Marcus Camby had more than half of his teams 49 rebounds, yeah that right he had 25 rebounds himself as the Clippers sailed to victory.  The Bulls put up a tough fight on the road but a poor second quarter did them in early.  Noah continues to impress with 15 boards of his own and Derek Rose had 23-8-7.  Clipper Nation was lead by 23 from Baron Davis.
