Arenas Pulls a Gun on Teammate
Apparently Gilbert Arenas pulled a gun on teammate Javaris Crittenton after an argument ensued about a gambling dispute. It was reported that the two made a bet and Arenas didn’t hold his end of the deal and they got in a verbal argument in the locker room. Last week it was reported that Arenas had unloaded guns at the Verizon Center in DC, in order to get the guns out of his house to protect his daughter and the NBA was further investigating this issue. From an article on espn.com while the two were arguing, Arenas pulled a gun in the locker room. After Arenas pulled a gun, Crittenton did too!
This begs the question, why the hell are NBA players carrying guns in the arena? What the hell do they think is going to happen to them? I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this story and the NBA is becoming the NFL (a bunch of thugs with guns and drugs). This story is an embarassment to the NBA and I hope both of these players are fined and suspended. This cannot happen. What happens if one of those guns accidenlty went off? Imagine being in the locker room while two teammates had guns drawn at each other, what would you do? David Stern, WAKE UP and put an end to this NOW.
What’s your take on the whole situation?

They both should be suspended for a full year, at least. The image they are creating is exactly why Stern made a dress code. Stern’s blood must be boiling. He tries so hard to eradicate the thug image.
They should have stayed as the Washington Bullets.
Good for you G.
I almost certain Arenas and Artest would go ten paces at center court and have a duel.
[...] #2 Award – I am completely troubled by this story. I thought we had seen it all with Plaxico [...]
