If you ask any loyal Jordan Brand sneakerhead what the most coveted Jordan might be, I guarentee you would get a healthy amount of responses being, “The Spacejams.” You hear ‘Space Jam’ and you immediately think back to the movie featuring Michael Jordan and all those loveable Looney Tunes characters facing the Mon-Stars. In the movie, Jordan wore a pair of Jordan 11′s that were a black, white, and blue. Released soon after, the nickname was born.

That being said, I’ve thought all of my life what it would be like to own a pair of Spacejams. Well, as luck would have it, they’re being sold in stores on December 23rd for a retail price of $175. Looks like JB and myself will be camping out to aquire sneakers that we’ve wanted for a loooooooong time. This is hands down, the most anticipated release of 2009.
