J.J. Redick looks to break into the rap scene as part of a ‘rap supergroup’, led by a single to be released by the end of the year.
J.J. Redick = Great Shooter.
J.J. Redick = Great Rapper.

Wait.
What?
I don’t know if the “great” part is true, but J.J. Redick has shed light on the fact that behind the jump shot, he possesses musical ambitions.
Redick will reportedly be a part of a “rap super group” that will release a single by the end of 2009 entitled “Waste Management.” No name for this “super group” has been chosen yet but some of the potential names include Sub-par, Afterthought, and No Profits.
- I’m honestly speechless. Other NBA players have gone the rap route, including Shaq, Ron Artest, Kobe Bryant, and Allen Iverson. I can’t imagine this going well, but I can’t wait to hear what this music will sound like. Hell, Coach K might be an album feature. Stay tuned (pun intended!).

Haha, that’s awesome! Will the super group include Dwight Howard? I could dig it. Hey at least they are rapping about the environment with their first hit single “Waste Management.” And were you making those group names up or are those there legit possible group names? Haha.
Those are not made up. Which makes it more funny. This has to be an early April’s Fools joke lol.

Haha I love it. Redick only entered the NBA to keep his name in the media and make some money off of it, not to actually use his great college 3-pointer shot to drain two’s.
I would cry if I popped open my iTunes and saw “DJ Reddick feat. Ron Artest”
